I have been a patient of Dr Phan's three different times in my life...and each time I am surprised at how quickly his treatment is able to FIRST Alleviate my pain and THEN help correct the problem with subsequent treatments. My most recent experience is probably the most profound...i had moved away from Daytona and had been involved in a car accident that left me with a right footed limp and weakness in my left leg to the point that I couldn't climb stairs normally anymore...i stepped up each step with my right leg then essentially dragged my left leg up to follow...one step at a time. Getting out of a chair (especially a low one) was also a struggle. I was in an almost constant state of pain. I REQUIRED 4-6 Alieve tablets just to fall asleep. Within 4 weeks of two treatments a week, I am getting out of bed without pain, rising from chairs eazily AND I am walking straight again...stairs are getting easier each week. This past weekend I helped a friend move furniture, then worked a full 10hr shift on my feet. I WOULD HAVE NEVER even attempted that 5 or 6 weeks ago. Dr. Phan is passionate about helping his patients enjoy a better quality of life. He completes his assessment then discusses a plan to help the problem most bothersome to the patient. He starts the plan the first day you see him. I enjoyed relief from back pain after my very first treatment. Acupuncture is a much better choice for me rather than more medication or surgical insult. I have been going to this clinic for two months. After the first few visits I could sleep on both sides of my body, something I hadn't been able to do for a long time. I still go to Dr. Phan because I do not want the ITBS to return. The Doctor said I should continue until the pain is gone for two weeks. The office is very, very clean and calming, a medical spa atmosphere. I completely recommend Dr. Phan, I don't like to complain or talk about my pain issues but let me just say NO ONE could help alleviate the sciatic pain I was having! It was so bad that it traveled from my lower back on my right side down into my hip and onto the top of my shin all the way down to my big toe. My shin was completely numb. I went to chiropractors, massage, neurologist, primary care etc. Dr. Phan was the only one that made the pain stop and the numbness go away. His office is so professional. Jennifer who runs the office is extremely kind and courteous. I highly recommend this office and Dr. Phan, he is amazing. Have an open mind, Im so glad I did. I was uninformed about the benefits of acupuncture, and now Im so grateful I overcame my fear of the procedure so that I can live a pain free happy life again.
