The staff is very professional and the wait time for treatment was in and out less than an hour

I woke up this morning with pain in my left ear and not being able to hear well.. Not a good time with a musical performance coming at FBC Columbus and middle school kids so eager to sing! Tonight I'm already feeling better. A cleaning of my right ear (not the problem ear)) and an evaluation of the left by the skillful physician resulted in a diagnosis of an inner-ear infection! Thank you so much ACE for being open, for seeing me quickly and for giving me such excellent care that I needed. It's wonderful to have this group of caregivers in our community!! :) read more

We have been sitting it the waiting room for over an hour for a 5 panel drug test! The staff doesn't seem to care about the time people spend waiting while the staff is just sitting back talking about their lives and other stuff. Find a better place to spend your time and money. read more

I had an awful experience with my daughter today. I was told we were not covered on my husband's insurance. I assured them we are and my husband sent me the digital card which was exactly the same as the physical card I gave them. They told me one system said we have insurance, but the "more accurate" system said we're not covered. They didn't try to help me resolve this and suggested I take her to the hospital. My insurance just informed us that it's a mistake on their part. The office manager is conveniently not there today. these ladies were cold hearted. I'm a mother with a sick child, have some compassion. read more

ACE is the place... oh wait that's the other one. But this is definitely where you want to head if you can't get a primary care appointment and it isn't a true emergency. They are polite, fast, and really good at what they do. read more

Yesterday we were cared for by the excellent staff at ACE. We use ACE for all our after hours/weekend or simple acute care needs because they are professional, efficient and caring. Dr.Joseph Kaplan took care of us yesterday. He and his staff were thorough and caring. We left there confident in our care and our prescriptions were sent to our pharmacy very quickly by Dr.Kaplan. We will return to ACE again and again for our acute care needs! read more

Went to them on Friday and the doctor gave me nothing so I called back Saturday told them my sinus was killing me and since I just saw them could I get an antibiotic called in. The receptionist asked and said no I have to be sick for a week or more to get any! . DO NOT waste your money or time with this place, it's a joke!!! read more

Very disappointed! After waiting 2 hours in their waiting area, My daughter came in with a major cough and head and chest cold, I requested antibiotics to help prevent anything developing from drainage (having 5 daughters I know the routine). The doctor refused and now 2 days later, as we traveled to Tennessee for the New Year's Eve, she developed a major ear ache that kept me and daughter up all night! now instead of prescribing what I asked for in the first place, states I need to go see another doctor! Where the wait is over 2 hours! And I have to drop another $100! Total bs incompetence! read more

Took my daughter there because she was experiencing shortness of breath, coughing and chest congestion. She also has asthma. They tested her for covid which came back negative, wrote her a prescription for albuterol and prednisone and sent her on her way. The doctor did not check her lungs or give her a breathing treatment!! She could have bronchitis or pneumonia. If you want good care please avoid this establishment!! read more

Went there Saturday with an unusual red spot on my leg and received no help. I understand that it was one of those "gee, I don't know what this is" cases but the PA was trying his best. However, when he mentioned it could be a Deep Vein Thrombosis I believe I should have been sent to an emergency room for further evaluation. While there, someone knocked on the door and asked the PA if he wanted two more rooms opened to a total of five. The man at the door said, "I don't want to flood your ass". I think this encounter could have been done elsewhere and not in the presence of a patient. I hate to think I'm part of the "flood". They didn't even look that busy. Doesn't sound very respectful. I have been to Ace twice since it became Veteran owned and I won't be back. The care is subpar. read more

Worst ever. Not even busy and it takes over an hour to be seen. Not the cleanest place. The owner / boss? just gave excuses... only one on duty right now... So I get you take volunteers for doctors but you are also in network for BCBS and I am sure for other insurance companies. Along with work-mans comp. This is supposed to an alternative to the ER, not just like the ER on wait times when you're not even busy! Never again will I ever come here. I will never tell someone to come here and I will be sending in my complaint to BCBS. And eventually one day you will lose the contract. I am highly urging you to step up your game and get out of that "we will do what we want and how ever we want and however slow we want" mentally. People go to urgant cares to get in and out. For better service. And to be told... going to the ER you will have a long wait time. Well SIR, you are not the only urgent care in Columbus GA. I came here because it was Vet Owned. I normally RAVE about how amazing ACE treats me as a patient. I'm extremely upset that they won't call in a different antibiotic for my ear infection. I was already seen and took the 10 day prescription and it didn't help. I cannot drive and have no one that has the time to take me AGAIN. My symptoms are exactly the same. So they want me to pay out of pocket for another visit when literally all I need is to try another antibiotic. It's ridiculous and I'm so disappointed in ACE. They've been wonderful in the past but I'm not sure what's changed cause the old ACE would simply call in a different prescription for my ear. Not charge me for another visit where all they do is check my vitals and look at the SAME infection I had 10 days ago. So disappointed in them.... read more

Wait time was 3+ hours with a lobby full of people. Wasn't prescribed any antibiotics because they "no longer" offer them and give you other options such as over the counter medicine you can take. But what can you do but take it with a grain of salt and take their advice. You don't have much of a choice when your regular doctor is closed. On a good note, the staff was wonderful and very professional and courteous. Won't go back unless I absolutely need too. read more

I read reviews before going and I should have listened. The worst urgent care I've ever been to. With a sick child why do I need to call twice because the prescription was never received by the pharmacy. They weren't busy we were the first ones seen! Horrible experience I'll drive the extra miles pass that place to another acute care facility. read more

I had a good experience at this provider. This was my first time using this facility. I was very pleased. I signed in and 50 minutes later I was walking out the front door. This was a Saturday morning and I was concerned they would be full with cold and flu cases but there were only 3 cases ahead of me. The staff was friendly, courteous, and took care of business. I use Tricare Prime and am very limited on my choices. This was much easier than having to go all the way to Ft Benning. I will be trying this facility again for my next non-emergency need and I hope the service is as good next time. read more

This is the second time I've been to ACE. First was for a case of bronchitis. This was for a broken ankle. Everyone is extremely pleasant. The doctor (woman) is very soothing and very calming. While neither she nor the technician saw the break they made it VERY CLEAR that that was not nec definitive - that they send all xrays off to a radiologist. They called me the next day as soon as they found out that there indeed was a break. I returned and they put me in a temp cast and made an appt for me the following morning with Dr. Jacobson at Hughston Clinic. If I have any complaint it is that when you walk in you have no idea how long you are going to be there. read more

The nurse and doctor that I spoke with were very rude. They talked together about me negatively while I was waiting in my room. I did nothing to provoke this behavior. They were both young health care professionals. The doctor was a young woman with dark hair and the nurse was a man with reddish hair and glasses. They spoke to me in a demeaning manner even though they assisted me with the problem I had come there for. I will not be coming here again. The health care professionals I was exposed to here were very unprofessional and it was a very unpleasant experience. read more
