In fact, what we got was an outstanding deceptionist who gave the most terrific, mind boggling show we had have ever witnessed. Sav exceeded all our expectations, when guests reminisce about our party, it is always Sav's name that is the topic of conversation, marvelling at his charm, talents and slick, professional performance. He has the ability to make every guest feel special. ensuring his illlusions wow and astonish the audience throughout. I was incredibly lucky to have found Sav, with so many adverts for deceptionists it is bewidering, but I need not have worried, he was in a league of his own. After seeing adverts for this show and the boyff hinting heavily, I decided tickets to see this…read moreshow, would be a perfect stocking filler for him at Christmas. There were parts we were both totally like "what the hell", "OMG" and "Did that just happen", there was also parts of complete and utter tosh. I mean they had some very good acts, one was the standard that you would expect at a children's party, one guy, Den Den, goodness knows how he expected us to stay awake by folding and producing bits of paper. I was bored out of my mind for his part. The inventor was just properly naff. Pretending to saw off the lower half of a body and you can see the guy with his legs folded up in his chest, like seriously?!?! Colin Cloud was brilliant. He also spent a lot of time after the show signing programs, taking pictures and speaking to the public after the show. I only bought £35 seat tickets, so it wasn't too bad. If I had spent a penny more, I would have been really quite annoyed. It seems that there are some cracking performers, but they have filled the gaps with some really rather naff acts.

Abid's communication before the event was impeccable and helped to set my mind at ease. He arrived and set up well ahead of time and he didn't leave until he had made everybody laugh and until every child had at least 1 x balloon character to take home (with the exception of my 4 year old son who managed to come back with 4....including an amazing Spider-Man, Ironman, Dinosaur and Sausage Dog on a lead!). Some of the adults joined to watch the magic show, which was very funny. Toby had a very good manner with the children. A little 3 year old got into a tantrum and Toby managed the situation really well, by making him a balloon creation. I would recommend Toby as a children's entertainer and we would hire him again.

I was looking for a fun night out with my son while visiting London, and this experience delivered…read moreon every front: fun, original, entertaining, and truly memorable. Afterwards, my son said it was the best thing he's done in London. The evening begins with a short tour of their museum, followed by two 20-minute showcases of close-up, table magic. During the intermission, you're taken through the second part of the museum tour, then onto two more magic showcases to close out the night. Each showcase features a different magician. If you're from the UK, you've probably heard of the Magic Circle but you might not know they host their own live showcase. If you're visiting from abroad, the Magic Circle is essentially the elite, semi-secretive "trade association" of magicians -- not just in the UK, but globally. Their museum even includes original artifacts from Houdini. A few other pointers related to their Friday night "Close-Up At The Magic Circle": - The VIP tickets are worth paying for. - There is a full bar. - The building is a little hard to locate and somewhat out of the way (besides Euston Station) but don't let that put you off. - The event works for kids, adults, date nights, pretty much every occasion. - The show starts around 7:30 but suggest getting there around 6:45. It lasts around 2 1/2 hours. Highly recommend.

Shows, lectures, classes, research and exams are performed here. Duke or Edinburgh, Prince Charles and Lord Mountbatten are members and join the likes of Paul Daniels, David Copperfield, Ali Bongo and many many more. The Circle also hosts a very nice theater, bar, reception area, museum and Inner Sanctum.
