I had back surgery (spinal fusion) 8 years ago and this last year has been the biggest struggle I have ever experienced. About 1 year ago I developed additional issues with other areas of my back and It was effecting me physically and mentally. I'm 65 but in my head I'm 45 and want to live out my life in an active normal way. Before I met Sun I truly thought I was running out of options and my only other recourse was another surgery. By my 1st or 2nd treatment I was better and by my 5 visit the weakness in my leg and pain in my hip ( which I've been told by ortho's is radiated from my back) are just about completely gone. I have never been able to do this my whole life; if the sun is up then I'm up and that's the way it's always been so the fact that I was able to sleep during the day is truly amazing and it was a very deep sleep. I woke up around 6pm and felt really rested and had very little pain in my neck, back and shoulder. I ate dinner, watched about an hour of tv and then went to bed again around 9pm and slept soundly another 8 hours, this time on my side which is my preferred sleep position but haven't been able to do since I got injured because my arm would always go numb and wake me up.
