Hired Adam to complete a baby barn repair (level the barn, install a new floor, and fix the roof), but the quality of the work was poor. I was told by every other contractor to tear it down and build new, however Adam assured me that it could be jacked up and repaired. After 4 days work he said that it couldn't be jacked up safely and instead of asking us how we wished to proceed, he installed a new floor in a still crooked building. If he had of consulted us when an issue arose we would have advised him not to proceed and returned the materials to the hardware store and built a new shed. He showed up late the first two days, he didn't have the right equipment, and one day ran out of nails and left early. He left shingles and nails all over our lawn for 4 days despite several requests to clean them up so our dog could safety go out into our yard. He promised he would bring a magnet to use on the lawn to make sure no nails were left and on the last day he said he couldn't find it to bring it. He did work hard, shingled the roof and laid down a new floor. We received an invoice at 7:30pm the evening he finished the project. Unfortunately we were outside putting our items back into the baby barn so we did not receive the email. At 8:10 his partner then sent a message threatening to take us to court because we hadn't paid our invoice. This was less than 1 hour after the invoice was sent. I have never experienced this level of unprofessionalism in my entire life. I have also never written a negative review about a service until now. I think Adam did the best he could, but he is more of a rough carpenter and not detail oriented. Adam was the cheapest quote and we learned the hard way that you get what you pay for.
