Had my car picked up from work today around 10am, they carried out my service and MOT and returned…read moreit before I finished work at 4pm. They offered me a courtesy car but I didn't need one. They were cheaper and more efficient than the garage near my home (who always want 24 hours to do anything!) and I was very happy with the service, being close to my workplace was a nice bonus.

I've been using this garage for the last three years and thought they were efficient and fair…read morepriced. However, we are a two car family and recently both have needed repairs within a short space of each other. I was assured by the garage that all would be well and they could fix them. The first car took almost two weeks of badgering to finally get repaired and throughout staff lied about delays, one minute said we could have a courtesy car then said they didn't have one then said they didn't give cars out. Appointments were made to bring the car in only to arrive and be told there had been mix ups and the mechanics couldn't look at the car. On numerous occasions we were promised that someone would contact us and the call never came. One mechanic is too busy touting for his own business as he's threatening to leave. Finally, I have decided enough is enough and have taken my car to another garage. Even this was interesting as they have pointed out things I should have been told about my engine that Omnius never mentioned in all the times they've serviced it, MOT'd it or repaired it. I used to recommend them but certainly not now. Please don't let them waste your time or money.

I've used this place twice over the years - once when I reversed my car into a post and dented the…read moreboot and once when somebody bashed my car while it was parked outside my house and then drove off without leaving their details (thanks for that, no, really). It's a tiny place and you might have to wait a while to get booked in (I had to wait four weeks this last time) but they do a fantastic job and they're very reasonable compared to other places. I got quotes ranging up to £700 for my last repair but they were the cheapest at £300 and it's as good as new. I get the feeling they're a small business who rely very much on word of mouth and who will do a good job at a good price without ripping you off. I can't even drop them a star for the waiting time because they're cheap and reliable and it's no hassle to use them. I can't recommend this place highly enough.
