I have not seen such a range of Birkenstocks since I was an Au Pair in Holland. During summer, Birkenstocks were THE cool footwear to be seen in, none of this Havaiana nonsense. When I used to pick the children up from school I was always amused at the uniformity of their feet in an otherwise non-uniform-wearing school.
Adavera is the place to go if you are a Birkenstocks fan, or if you have Dutch children. Along with Birkenstocks they sell a lot of other well known, quality footwear brands such as Camper and Ecco. The shelves are packed with what are clearly genuinely comfortable shoes that manage to be somewhat stylish as well (in most cases).
The majority of the shoes are pretty expensive; I think their price label machine would spontaneously combust from sheer confusion if it was asked to print anything less than $100. But the old adage you get what you pay for rings true here, and if you want to be comfortable, which in a perfect world should be the number one aim when it comes to footwear; this is the place for you. read more
