I wish I could give a -0...... I had an extremely disappointing experience with RTN Register Tape…read moreAdvertising. I paid approximately $1,039 per month for advertising and spent more than $12,000 over the course of a year. During that time, I did not receive a single phone call or lead that I could attribute to the advertising. There were problems from the beginning. My ads did not start on schedule, some stores were not printing the ads at all, and the ads that did print were often cut off. In some cases, the QR code did not work, the phone number was incomplete, or only the Spanish version printed while the English version did not. I contacted RTN multiple times and sent photos documenting these issues, but the problems were never fully corrected. When I decided to cancel, I explained that I had spent over $12,000 and received no results. I was then persuaded to continue based on what I understood to be an agreement for seven stores at the same monthly price I had already been paying. Later, I discovered documents showing additional stores and charges that I never requested and never knowingly agreed to. I immediately objected and contacted the company to dispute the additional stores. I also repeatedly informed RTN that they were sending emails to an email address that I did not monitor and asked that my contact information be updated. Despite knowing this, they continued sending important communications to that email account. What concerned me most was when I later reviewed an email that discussed increasing my account to 39 stores the following year. I was shocked because I had never agreed to anything close to that. If I was disputing additional stores that had already been added without my approval, how could there suddenly be discussion of expanding to 39 stores? That raised serious concerns for me about how my account was being handled. I contacted management multiple times seeking help. One manager stated that I would not be responsible for the higher amount, and another manager told me that the disputed stores would be canceled. However, I still have not received a complete written resolution. Based on my experience, I believe RTN used misleading sales practices and failed to provide the advertising services that were promised. Small business owners should carefully review every document, keep copies of all emails, and get every promise in writing before doing business with this company.
