The employees literally said that they can't make any decisions or else they'll get fired I think that's absolutely pathetic. Why hire employees if you can't trust them to make logical decisions to keep clientele. I'll never shop here again. The owner/manager finally wrote back to place fault me and say they will do me a favor by repairing the item and mailing it to me free of charge. Being sold a faulty piece should be exchanged and is a reasonable request especially within 24 hrs of being sold... the ankle bracelet broke in a place I couldn't break and my ankles are not at all big ... picture included of ankle bracelet. I'll be dropping it off in the morning. I will be following up on this review to give everyone an update how long it takes etc to get back. Customer service is how you keep business & gather more. We went over to the men's section as Jason was looking for a particular type of polo, which he didn't find, and unfortunately no one offered assistance, this store had many employees just walking around. After being felt uncomfortable, we left about a 10 min after arriving. Yes, we could have asked for assistance, but we were already feeling uncomfortable as we entered. Typically at the more higher end stores, you're greeted with a "welcome" by someone! We didn't find what we were looking for so we exited. Perhaps next time we may have a different experience, if we do, I'll update my review then.

It's positioned as the off price, on trend, arriving daily store within Macy's. The one advantage is that if you are a Star Rewards member, you can also collect points by shopping at Macy's Backstage. I found a few nice home decor items in here. I was unaware of this store or section until a couple years ago. I was actually unaware this was at this Macy's location. I discovered this section when I was looking for where the FitBits might be. I'm guessing the items here are either leftover stock items the regular store cannot get rid of. They also sell high end designer items like purses, sunglasses, and wallets that are limited supply and in a case. I always check those out. This sounds weird but I think those are used because they look pretty beat up. I browsed quickly through Backstage and stopped at items I was interested in. I was looking for a really small suitcase or carry on. They did not have what I needed but I saw some cool things I would have pissed away money on if I had it lol. Although it was not crowded with people, it seemed like the merchandise was busting at the seems lol. You can still find some great deals here and probably some rare items.
