Family brand with honest family values! I bought my car from a 'reputable brand' which is less than 3 years old from in October 2019 and it's been with the same brand' each month because I was concerned about the drive and shaking. Finally, they advised that I had 2 buckled Alloys then by the time I bought it into the dealership they told me it had 3 buckled alloys. It didn't sit right me especially when I asked for pictures or video of the buckles - surprisingly, the camera wasn't working on either inspection for them. Requesting 3 new alloys and 4 new tyres to the extortionate sum of £4800! I decided to get an independent review and see if I could get the alloys repaired. I searched online and found that Addison Tyres had the specialist equipment for the job albeit I live in Yorkshire (6 hour round trip drive). So after collecting my car from said brand to Addison tyres the same day (which they kindly rescheduled twice for me as said brand kept messing me about with my collection date), I noticed an instant difference from said brand to Addison. I was greeted with a smile, and even though I was early for my appointment, they allowed me to see the equipment they would use to repair my buckled alloys. They removed the wheels from my car and upon inspection, none of my alloys were buckled but said brand had cut corners and placed cheap budget tyres on my premium high performance sports car which led to misshaping and bumpy tyres which explains my uncomfortable drive. I am clueless about cars and you hear horror stories of garage companies taking advantage of customers. Not Addison. They could have 'repaired' by alloys and got me to buy new tyres. Addison instead were honest and were able to get me back on the road that day. I bought 4 replacement Pirelli PZero tyres for my car, and they did all the shopping around to get me the best price for premium brand tyres for me and came up with a range of options. I went with their advice and got a great deal. I also had my new tyres aligned with their computerised wheel alignment system which gave me a 'before and after readout' that even I could understand! Jason Addison also advised me and supported my complaint by going on camera for me to give his professional advice on the tyres I had to put in my complaint against said brand along with additional report to put said brand's blatant lies to the test! The team at Addison were spot on! Offered hot drinks whilst I waited and to the point I brought my work laptop with me and got some office work out of the way. Addison tyres provided excellent customer service in all aspects of communication, flexibility, timeliness and technical expertise. They were willing to explain work that was required and competitive pricing. They have delivered and I would have no hesitation in recommending them. Took my Lexus 220D in today for 2 new tyres and and MOT test. Was greeted by Jason the manager and was shown to the small but comfortable waiting area. Although I'd booked to have two tyres changed , the fitters assured me I only need one . I said I knew one was a good tyre but I wanted a matching pair . Fair enough they said , The car was put on the Hunter 4 wheel tracking machine free of charge and I was shown the results , which turned out to be fine . Car was then taken for an MOT and passed without a single fault.. I was shown their range of winter tyres and also their refurbished alloy wheels all without any pressure to buy . I was charged for exactly what I'd asked for , unlike other places where they try and sell you something you don't need or want. ie the Lexus main stealer or Kwik Fit . Was given a voucher for £20 tesco fuel which was a nice bonus. Pleased you bet I am , particularly as I had my car serviced by a Lexus Main stealer sorry dealer 3 months ago and was told I needed new brakes all round (pads and Discs) and a new wiper plus the new tyre . I told them to go away and multiply. I must point out I have 38 years automotive experience and knew there was nothing wrong with the car other than a tyre which was getting low . Had two new motorbike tyres fitted today from addison tyres. The manager jay was extremely helpful & fully understood my concerns as to the possibility of the paint being damaged on replacement of my tyres. I need not have worried the guy changing my tyres was most careful, and gave impeccable attention to detail, actually to the point of cleaning the excess soap from the wheel rims. On observation of my wheels i found them to be perfect, not the slightest scratch or mark on the paintwork. I cant rate these highly enough as they really are that good!! excellent all round service as a female I was dreading going to a garage expecting to be ripped off and to my surprise I had a really good experience.I was shown what was wrong with my tyres and a few other little things a missing ring and some corrosion which the manager sorted out free of charge. It was also lovely to sit in a little waiting room and have a coffee while I waited for my car to be done.I must also add the customer service was excellent all the lads were really friendly and helpful and Jason the owner went above and beyond .I would highly recommend read more

I have been using Addison Tyres for a number of years now. Forget Kwikfit and all those other so-called brand name fitters - in my experience Jason and his team, together with the high spec machinery at their disposal, are the best and most informative and accurate guys in the West Mids area. I have used them for tyre fitting, balance and tracking and for brakes and have never had any issues. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else !! read more

Called in to Addison Tyre Centre today with my Bmw 330D to have some runflat tyres fitted. I was impressed with there 'state of the art fitting machine' they looked after my alloys which I was worried about. I went to get my tracking checked and to get one of my tyres checked out for a slow puncture.The company has a computerised tracking machine and I was given a report to show the readings before and after the tracking was re- set; to prove that it had indeed been re-set and put right.The puncture was fixed while I waited.Overall I was very impressed.Paul, Dudley. read more
