I would have to agree with another reviewer that they don't treat us not people. You are assigned a paralegal and not an attorney. You don't even get assigned an attorney until the day of your hearing with the judge. Paralegal doesn't return calls and i did send her emails. She returned the emails sometimes that same day or days later. A person at Social security called them several times and could never get your paralegal on the phone. Docs was never send and checked in a timely matter. SSA doesn't wait until your firm is ready and this lawyer firm should know that. SsA will continue your case and make a determination with or without them. I had to gather all my paperwork and get my doctor to fill out forms and call ssa myself to make sure they got it and then call my doctor to tell them to fax it to them or the law firm. I felt like I was doing all the work and I shouldn't feel that way. Do yourself a favor it's not worth going to this firm and paying them for services that you feel like your doing yourself. Get a law firm that cares and that you actually can speak with a lawyer through our case. You should be able to trust your lawyer or law firm cuz I never spoken or meet my lawyer but that paralegal. There clients should be there priority and it's not. Good luck if you go with them and I wish I would of listen to other people reviews because it so true.

This is a very large law firm and for the actual owner to speak with me a few times showed me they're not just another law firm looking for their cut in your accident, etc. They earn their cut which isn't really much. They were always there to answer any questions I had. I love that if when you call and if your rep. is busy they make an appointment for you to speak with them at another specified time that works for you and them, which is great as they focus on you at that time and it's all yours. I was never interrupted or hurried off the phone; I never felt rushed. In fact Carla wouldn't get off the phone with me if I didn't understand something. She explains things to you in layman's terms. I'm sure she might have been annoyed with all my questions, etc., but she never quivered and always treated me professionally and with full compassion. WComp. is a lot of papers and it's tough to understand but Carla took that pile of papers and info and reduced them so I could breeze through and with confidence that she was working for my best interest. She also explained the WC procedures, law, and processes to me that I now understand. The laws for WC in NYS are terrible. They side with the employer which for those of us like me who've been left with life-long disabilities due to an accident at work is just deplorable. I believe WC is very unfair, has very little concern for the employee. They are too straight forward and it seems they treat us all alike when all our cases are very different. Carla and the Kenny Law Firm went to bat for me and did the best they could working with this unfair WC system that needs to be overhauled. Kelly Beck was also helpful to me at the very end but Carla was my main person. Thanks again guys, I know what firm I'm recommending. Called the office on 4/15 to confirm that my NYS tax payment was submitted for an automatic electronic debit from my bank account...I got conflicting answers and when I said that I had a busy day ahead of me and really didn't have time to come down there and get the IT 201 Jeff basically told me that I don't know what a busy day is. I then spent over an hour on hold with NYS and now have been in an email war with Jeff since this morning...still I am not sure if it was submitted or not. Here is the last response I received from Jeff himself Again, this matter has NOTHING to do with me and is out of my control. VERY SIMPLY, it is YOUR responsibility to make sure your taxes are paid, NOT MINE, and if you knew that the state did not withdraw the taxes on the designated date you should have IMMEDIATELY, on THAT DAT,E called my office and I would have provided you with the voucher you need to mail in a check.
