I had asked him to remove the personal information and he than proceeded to use profane language and called me a "f@$&ing clown" and i proceeded to tell him that our conversation was being recorded and he than got even more disrespectful and called us many more names before hanging up on us. After being hung up on multiple times he than answered the phone and identified himself as "Glencoe OPP" and proceeded to tell us that we were going to be charged for simply asking him to take personal information off of his response to my boyfriends 100% accurate review on his experience. At this point i had asked the "officer" what his name was and Darin hung up the phone. After serveral more attempts to obtain the officers name and being hung up on i called on my phone and Darin than answered yelling my name and immediately telling me i was going to be charged as well now for simply asking the name and badge number, he stated that the police would contact me. So we contacted the Glencoe OPP and were informed that no officer had been dispatched to that location and Darin or one of his colleagues was impersonating an OPP officer. Any respectable and honest business owner would go out of their way to try and make things right. Instead this sad excuse of a business owner attacks anyone who has a negative experience and voices their opinion on reviews. I would highly recommend Not using Glencoe auto recyclers as they are extremely unprofessional. Just scroll through the reviews and look at his responses to any bad reviews for glimpse at his true character. In Darins eyes the customer is always wrong. My timing issue was solved but prior to that the mechanic asked me "WHY" was my engine popping thru…read morethe carbs, I had to inform him the timing was still out. Excuses were given why the carb main jets could not be replaced, (simple job) did it myself after I trailered my ride home from their shop. Thankfully I inspected the work that was done I discovered stator cover screws that were loose not torqued to spec, one screw was replaced with the wrong diameter (too small) which indicated an amature approach at best, final heads up inspect their work will save you some possible issues down the road.
