The other is mostly purses and satchels for women. Almost all of the products are leather and in a multitude of pastel colors. The designs are so cool with seamless mix of retro and modern. Lots of attention to detail too. The soles of the shoes for example either have a molded design of Argentina or human metatarsals I think this is a stand-alone design house because when I asked, I was told this was the only place in the world to get these shoes. And boy was I ready to buy except... the entire block was out of electricity and I didn't have time before my flight to get cash. I didn't see anything in either store that I did not like a lot. I'm pleased I did because I bought a pair of trainers which are so cool I can't believe I was lucky enough to spot them and make a purchase. They weren't cheap but if they were, they wouldn't be so well made and are leather inside as well as out. I'm reluctant to wear them because they are so nice but when I do, people will ask me where I got them. I will take pleasure in telling them to go to BA and get a pair. Not so easy from the UK! I can't find a website where I could look for another pair, suppose I could pick up the 'phone.

Today I was back in town and stopped in and found a jacket for myself. Once again, the salesperson was very nice. And helpful. His dismissively replied "no hablo Ingles" and it was clear he had no interest in helping. For example, although my pocket wasn't picked on this trip, I did leave most of my underwear behind in a San Telmo Hotel room before heading off to Camarones for the week. I'm sure housekeeping tossed them, but keeping 2 pairs clean became a continual cleaning challenge. I know, this is all TMI. So back in town, Gayle and I spotted this Zara and went in and bought a test pair. One thing I learned is that my 38" waist is bigger than a European XL. The second thing is that having these things making me look like a dirty old French guy, has a certain attraction for Gayle. :)
