Man, the smells be driving these men crazy! I walked into work last week with the Cool Water on and couldn't help watching people lusting over me when they passed. The guy down the hall that NEVER talks to me, was sho' on my line after he walked past me and got a swift of this smell! Him: "Whoo! Porsche, whatever you have on smells AMAZING!" Me: "Well, thank you! I recently went on vacation and found an amazing perfume store that sells an abundance of body oils that last me all day!" Him: "I must say, it smells great on you, whatever it is!" (As he smiles at me) Yup! I blame it all on Nur Perfume, a family owned perfume store that sells over 100 different body oils, incenses, essential oils, black seeds, and soaps. Whatever you want for your body, they have it! My girlfriend and I stopped in here as we were checking out downtown Richmond and taking pictures of all the murals. I couldn't miss Nur Perfumes as they have a huge sign over their building. As I am a lady that loves smelling fresh, I was excited to come in here and check it out. As I walked in, I quickly noticed their selection of oils on the back wall. Nur, the owner of the store and his sister, Sakara, spent over an hour with me as I smelt all of the body essential oils. Good thing we were the only ones in the store, HA! Nur Perfumes offers different sizes catering to your needs. Once you find an oil that you like, you then select your price size and Nur will place the oils in the small tubes and label them for you. The prices are extremely reasonable. I love that they have ALLL the perfumes that you could think of. As soon as I told Nur what type of smells I liked, he didn't hesitate to provide me with scents that were a perfect match! Now, ladies, they even have some scent names that will surprise you! My big eyes got excited when I read an oil that read, "Pussy". I quickly looked at Nur and said, "Ohh, I need that Pussy in my life". And sure nuff', I did! Their scents last you all day, better than perfumes from Bath and Body works or Victoria Secret. Best of all? They ship to ANYWHERE! I am totally set for a couple of months with my recent purchases, but I can't wait to begin shopping online for more scents. Nur Perfumes, I am in LOVE! Do you hear me? I have two pieces done over several sessions with Adam, and one by their newest team member, Jason Brown, and I am extremely happy with them. The line work is crisp and precise, the shading is smooth, and the composition fits my body. I trust them to take my basic idea and run with it in the way they think will give me the best result. Everyone is extremely professional, friendly, and down to earth, but most importantly they are passionate about and skilled at their craft. The artists specialize in traditional style tattoos, but they welcome collaboration on any of your ideas. The shop itself is very clean, well run, and has a fascinating array of artwork that is a welcome distraction during sessions. The pricing is very fair for such high quality work. They take both cash and credit cards, although the POS system has a 3% fee on cards. Don't forget to tip. The shop is in historic Jackson Ward, in between Saison Market and the Maggie Walker Memorial Plaza. There is very limited parking on N Adams Street, but it's easy to find a free spot in the surrounding area. They are very COVID safe, and the inside of the shop is extremely clean with organized service and high-quality technology. Even with exceptional service and talent, the value is fantastic. Prices are affordable and competitive, when comparing them to other tattoo shops in the Richmond area, and the shop minimum sits at $80. The artists are very experienced, talented, and caring. Never impatient, they made me feel as comfortable and welcome as possible. John Setzer was my artist, and he was wonderful! If you like these artist's portfolios and previous work, or you just require an excellent tattoo experience, I can't recommend Civilization Tattoo enough!
