She did not acknowledge me nor did any of the employees working there. I was in the store for about half an hour and found a few items that I would have purchased (and mind you, their items are NOT inexpensive) but since no one approached me or offered me help as I was struggling to find the price on a chandelier I thought would look awesome in my house, I couldn't bring myself to ask for assistance because they clearly didn't need my business. In fact, a gentleman who works there (which I found out was a designer named Frank by visiting their web-site) was standing about 3 ft from me and told the 2 girls at the counter that "Sometimes I can't stand people." Well, that sealed the deal for me. As a manager of a large bank in the area who focuses on excellent customer service, I can surely understand feeling this way at times, but expressing it front of a customer (a customer who wants to buy something REALLY bad) is just unacceptable. I was so disappointed because there were a few items I really wanted to purchase but I just couldn't do it based on the fact that no one ever even spoke to me the whole time I was there.
