The property Manager is Great! she is very personable, and has great customer service skills. I got nothing ,but good vibes from her. she cares about the property and tenants. Give her a chance to resolve your issue before coming in with an attitude. I believe she is good person and another reason to give Admiral Place a try. I have been living in this complex since 2013, and this was the first time I ever received a phone call from the front desk service lady, Pandora Boone. She reached out to check how the service was and genuinely cared about my experience. I truly wish she had been here sooner, but I'm so glad she's here now, and I hope she's here to stay. It's such a comforting feeling knowing that someone genuinely cares about the residents. I chose to live in an apartment because I don't like yard work, but Pandora's thoughtful approach has made me feel so much better about living here. DO NOT MOVE HERE! I am giving it a one star review because i have to but honestly this place does not even deserve that! Apartments have no AC and when u talk to "management" bout it they act like is nothing. They lost they renters license last year and started kicking ppl out when they renewed it because those ppl knew they right they did not give ppl the opportunity to renew they lease. Excuse my language but the manager is a complete ass she does not care about anyone living on the property she just there to get her money and go home Lonnie (the leasing agent) will be nice at first and then lie to you if she has to. Maintenance tries they best to do they job but doesnt have the support and equipment that they need to do the job efficiently. Oh and the roaches in the apartment yea you will be paying $1600+ to have free lives in room mates cause no matter how much they call a fumigator you will have roaches unless you take matters into your own hands. If you do choose to move here get a ring doorbell cam or blink cause the manager will have days where she will try to get in the apartment without giving you notice or send someone to the apartment again no notice and then deny it. IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS TO THIS APARTMENT, THAT WOULD BE GIVING THEM TOO MUCH CREDIT!!! This review is a lengthy one, but it best paints the picture of the unprofessionalism, neglect, rudeness, and pure disregard this property and its management have for its residents. I will include as many pictures as I can showing the damage to my unit THE DAY I MOVED IN that management also has, screenshots of the countless calls I made that went unanswered, and my overall experience with Admiral Place since making the mistake of choosing to live here. I moved to this property on September 22, 2023. Months before, while looking around for apartments, I took a tour of the property. During the tour, I was taken to a renovated unit, which had updated appliances, a refrigerator, stove, microwave, wooden cabinets, and dishwasher in the kitchen, washer and dryer in unit. I was informed I would either have dark wood cabinets and dark countertop finish or light wood cabinets and lighter countertop finish. She almost informed me that the appliances would either be stainless steel or black. I was happy with the unit and the amenities and shortly after, submitted my application. Once approved, I called the leasing office again to confirm the details of my apartment and see when it would be available for me to view. When I called the leasing office, I was informed that while they couldn't confirm the exact details of my unit because they couldn't get in due to the flooring be redone, updates made, etc., but they did verify that the previous leasing office representative did give me the correct information about the cabinets and appliances and they would be able to confirm in a few weeks. Up until the Wednesday before my move, they told me the floors were being done, maintenance was fixing small updates to the unit, the unit was being painted, etc., and I wouldn't be unable to view the apartment. Finally, still without having viewed the unit, my move-in day arrived. I had my movers scheduled for noon that day (which was a Friday) so I arrived at the leasing office at 9am to walk the unit, get my keys, and prepare for the move. I walk into the apartment and immediately get upset. The stove and refrigerator are white, the cabinets are metal with grey paint, there is no microwave, there is no dishwasher, the shower is damaged, the washing machine is leaking, the screen to the patio was laying on the ground and damaged, and there was trash in the closet of the second bedroom. I mentioned my concerns to the leasing agent giving me the tour and she told me that not only do the "renovated units" not come with stainless steel or black appliances, but they don't even offer them on the property. WHAT A SHOCKER!!! The drain is completely missing and damaged, the tile where the faucets are is peeling and coming apart, and the faucets are hanging out from the molding. The shower wouldn't even drain, and thankfully I still had the keys to my old place until September 28th, so I had the pleasure of driving 35 minutes one way each day to Tysons Corner, Virginia, to access my old apartment and take a shower. Can you imagine?!?! Moving into an apartment and you can't even shower. Horrible. It is now October 16th, my shower is still not fixed, the assistant property manager, Roxanne promised me the month of October would be credited to my account due to all my issues, but never came though and now denies setting that expectation, property manager, Tom, hung up in my face when I finally got him on the phone to discuss my issues, and the regional manager, Bill has also refused to return any of my voicemails and his only email response is to reach out to property management, who have already refused to help me and directed me to contact him.I'm currently pursuing litigation to hopefully have my issues resolved and allowed out of this misleading and fraudulent lease through litigation, since every person managing this property refuses to communicate. Save yourself this headache and stress........DO NOT LIVE HERE. read more

I told them that some of the reviews were unflattering and asked if they were accurate.....never heard from them I did receive a reply from this business. I just moved in last week and I have so many things wrong with my apartment, washer and dryer not working, cracks everywhere in the apartment, already seeing roaches. My electric went out in my Kitchen on football Sunday around 6pm. I called the emergency line and Wallace responded in a very timely manner. He was professional, responsive and managed to get my electric back on in time for Sunday night football. This apartment complex is terrible. I moved in March 10 and have been experiencing issues since day 1. On move-in day they had to replace the stove and AC because neither one was working after I waited a week to move in so that the apartment would be "move-in ready". The apartment was never move-in ready. The tub shower head and the tub spout both had to be replaced and the shower was unusable for this first week after move in. There was a separation between the walls and the floor. The refrigerator leaks water all day I consistently have to wipe up water. The balcony door does not lock, the floors is uneven one part of the floor will be lower if you take a couple steps you'll be higher. Everything was supposed to be ready on "move-in" I had to wait two weeks for the washer and dryer, then the washer would flood, consistently had to call maintenance and the maintenance almost blew up the whole apartment after pouring acid down the water drain , the maintenance are not equip nor have the necessary training to fix these issues. Now currently the garbage disposal has backed up and flooded the area where my washer and dryer is there is water and ground up food pieces everywhere on the floor, I have to lift up the washer and dryer just to ensure all water is cleaned up. The wall has water damage the water was coming out of the wall. This apartment complex cares only about getting someone to "move-in" and nothing about the comfortability of the residents. Water damage has caused the the floorboards to come up. My experience has been TERRIBLE since move in day on March 10th, 2023. If I could give less than one star I would!!!! Prior to move-in and signing the lease I asked if I could view the unit and I was given every answer but yes. I was not able to see the apartment until move-in day. Admiral Place apartments is absolutely the worst apartment complex to live in. Bypass this property in your apartment search. The office staff is extremely unprofessional, they do not tell the truth and lack integrity. Anytime I place a service call it takes maintenance 2-4 visits to fix said issue. They place threatening notices regarding parking permits and procedures with no follow through. I have been living here for three years and they have changed the parking passes 3-4 times only to not enforce the permits. I continuously have to park my vehicle 3-4 bldgs away from my bldg because there are many cars in the lot with no permit. They apparently also have a policy on feeding stray cats that reside on the property but still allow tenants to place bowls of food and water in front of their buildings to feed them. The assistant property manger at this property Roshone Lyons is a joke she is not suitable for this position as her customer service skills are subpar. She is dismissive to your concerns and takes no steps to rectify your claim, concern or issue(s). My issue is I had a visitor who uses a service dog to get around in which case there was a pet in my apartment with my visitor for 1 day. I was notified the following day by way of a letter on my door indicating I would be charged 350.00 for a pet deposit and 35.00 per month. I contacted Roshone Lyons and indicated to her I do not own a pet and she says maintenance entered my apartment and saw that I had a pet. 1st of all this was a lie considering I was home secondly maintenance isn't to enter my apartment without leaving a notice they were here which is a violation of my lease. Thirdly Ms. Lyons didn't want to hear my story and indicated the pet deposit will stand. If Admiral Place truly wants to inspect my apartment to see that there is not a pet living with me I'm fine with that. I then asked for the contact information for the regional manager which is Cindy Pier. I have contacted the regional manager Cindy Pier to no avail. For an entire month I have been leaving this woman messages for a return call and she refuses to follow up with me to address my issue. These service levels are extremely unacceptable and plan on reaching out to her boss as well. I am always told she is in the office but somehow I'm always transferred to her voicemail. I moved in a little over a month ago and its been a horrible experience, I was not able to able to see the apartment unit until a day prior to my move in day. The unit was not move in ready but management expressed they would have it ready for me by the next day. The next day the unit was the exact way from the day before, I actually had to sit and wait for management to have someone come over and clean because even that was not done. I have a washing machine that takes up the whole kitchen, expose electrical in the bathroom, a non functional oven, a none functional medicine cabinet, a huge hole in the ceiling by the fan and every time you turn on the fan debris falls all over the carpet and those items listed management has been aware for over a month and have fixed zero items.They started set it up plumbing in every unit to centralize washer and dryer which was a complete inconvenience because there was dust everywhere which was very hard on my son who has asthma and I myself had to see an eye doctor because I had some type of debris in my eye. After being inconvenience with the construction and taking up my closet space management tells me they will charging an additional $75 for you to have centralized washer and dryer. read more

Admiral Place would not be a bad place to live if they stopped focusing on parking and focused more on other issues such as hiring better staff. I have been living here for four years and it just gets worse and worse. Yvette ( Property Manager) is so full of it. It's as if she tells you what you want to hear, but doesn't do what she needs to do. My tub has been stopped up since March and she stated that she would send someone to fix it at the beginning of April when she visited my apartment to check on the paint that is chipping in my tub. She also scheduled for someone to come out and reglaze my tub, they never showed up. I called her about two weeks later. She said that she would reschedule the appointment and call me to confirm. Fast fwd, its now May and I am still putting in maintenance request for the same issues.....and she has yet to call me and reschedule and appointment to fix the chipped paint. Let's not even talk about the knobs are no longer secure in my wall. But yet, soon as I don't pay that $1236 at the beginning of the month, a notice is placed on my door. this apartment is fuckin sad and dont ever move here. there is roaches in the apartments the apartments have old fashion washers and dryers. they raise the rent every fuckin month oh and lets not forget you only get one parking pass per lease holder! if youre a married couple with two cars one of your cars will be getting towed everyday! seriously this is not a joke! you have to be in a visitors spot only between the hours of 11pm-7am and if you are in there before or after those times you are gonna get towed. mind you there are only like 15 visitors spots and more than 10 apartment complexes! they also dont give out visitors passes either. also the property manager and her assistant are very rude. another thing the property manager of admiral place apartments are having relations with the dude that owed the tow company for the apartments so she gets a piece of the profit whenever he tows a car! please i beg yall do not move here this raggedy ass apartments is not worth the hassle save your time and money! we pay over 1400 a month for this bs! this is not a joke do not move here i regret ever signing a lease. i spent more than $600 in the past three weeks do not move here i repeat do not move here! this is unacceptable, if you pay rent you shouldnt have to go through this! and these apartments dont even look like this, the pics they have look like a hotel and the apartments we live in in reality looks like a run down hotel! read more
