The owner was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were divided by theme (I especially enjoyed the music/concerts room) and he had a great selection of vintage jerseys. He said he cleans all the clothes before putting them out so people can try them on without worries. I can't wait to come back to see what other clothes the owner finds. The store is a little hidden in the back of a little shopping area/offices off of First Street, but there are lots of helpful signs to guide you. The manager (possibly owner?) is very hands-on and her hard work is evidenced by a space that's clean, wonderfully arranged, and appealing to shop in. As I overheard conversations happening around me, I picked up on a sense of community...sure enough, I have since learned that ReVibe is connected to vibetogether.org, whose goal is "to create a positive impact in our community by bridging mental health and the arts. Our mission is to empower individuals through support, emotional well-being, self-expression, and community healing." The main shop is so organized and thoughtfully laid out that it feels like a boutique. Adult apparel is in the primary room, with smaller rooms for accessories and kid's clothes, books, and toys. For now, housewares are in a separate room to the right of the main shop, but there are plans to eventually tear down the wall separating the two spaces to make one large shop. Before I even left ReVibe, I was already thinking about doing a big purge at home so that I could bring donations in soon. I'd rather drive all the way from San Francisco to Benicia to support this shop than take my things to Goodwill or Salvation Army. ReVibe deserves all the support we can give!

Super friendly staff who welcomed us in, pointed out how they are set up and encouraged us to look around. New items come in regularly, I believe. On the day I visited, I had in a mind a particular sized painting-either framed or canvas for a certain wall space. They didn't happen to have it, but I saw plenty of other beautiful decorations that my budget, right now, won't allow for. No fault to the gals helping me but I was told discounts are not often given and when I asked about two pieces totaling roughly $50 ($28+$19) a $3 discount was given. That's less than tax. Again the gals working cannot control the dealer pricing HOWEVER competition is steep. When I can and did find similar items online and it cost less to buy and SHIP to me... perhaps the dealers should take that into account and price fairly. I recognize they are paying Walnut Creek rent for their space but folks won't continue to "shop local" if prices are obnoxiously higher than online. That being said the painted furniture prices are outstanding the work is really well done.

There were so many flowing, beautiful dresses flapping back and forth in the wind, just calling my name and asking to be tried on. I stepped in and was excited to see the vast collections of gently used items, including sneakers and dress shoes. I started with the jean stack and was excited to see that all the jeans were $20! You can't beat that price! I had to try a few pairs to find the right ones, but I was able to find a good pair from Old Navy that was 100% cotton! The store has many drawers with a vast assortment of buttons, pins, earrings rings and other doodads that I wish I had more time to browse. Other customers were happily digging through the drawers and happy with their finds as well. The lady at the counter was very friendly, welcoming and informed me that I could try in as many things as I liked in the curtained dressing room in the back. This was the only downside. The dressing room is a small storage room with a very little turn radius. I had to ask my husband to hold the curtain closed as I dressed and undressed because it did not close fully and I felt exposed. Overall, I definitely recommend this place if you want gently used, well priced clothing without breaking the bank.
