Because of unfortunate circumstances, I was forced to look for a place that could do same-day alterations. I called Adornables to see if there was any way they could quickly hem the bottom of a dress. The employee I spoke with on the phone told me that she would have to ask if they would be able to fit me in. I heard the whole conversation, including her mocking me for thinking a hem on the length would be a semi-easy fix. Needless to say, even though they told me they could do it, I chose not to patronize an establishment that is run so unprofessionally. read more

I have taken many things to this store for alterations. They did a great job up until the last time. I picked up a pair of pants that had been hemmed and found a few days later when I went to wear them that one leg had only been basted, not hemmed. I took the pants back to Lillya and she argued with me. I was dumbfounded. Why in the world would I make a claim like that that wasn't true? It's not like hemming pants is rocket science. She finally took them from me and said she would do it but she didn't believe me. I took them back, walked about and will never go back. read more
