I find it difficult to navigate through the narrow aisles with a pushchair, particularly when there are more than couple of people in the shop. They don't stock the widest range of clothing, and they don't have anything from their maternity range. I much prefer the bigger branch in Stevenage. However, their fitting rooms are a good size and they always seem clean and well-kept. I also find that service tends to be quite fast at the checkout and I rarely have to wait in a queue (but then I only go in here during the week, not at weekends, so it could be a different story during peak periods!) I like the fact that Dorothy Perkins offer account cover on their store card, where they refund your money when a product you buy at full price goes into the sale at a later date.

Although I think this helps the staff as it also seems a lot tidier than other Primarks I have been to! The staff are very polite here and whenever I have paid for something they have engaged me in a good conversation which is nice considering how busy they (usually) are. Having said that, I don't think this Primark gets as busy as other ones which makes for a much more civilised shopping experience! I recommend this one for people who prefer atmosphere over choice.

We were put at ease immediately and we had a wonderful experience. I had two other appointments that day and although the dress did come from this shop, they understood the process, were pragmatic and I couldn't be more happier that the business came back to these lovely ladies. They are a credit to their industry and I would recommend them to anyone. I had limited time to the wedding and they couldn't be more helpful or accommodating. I only wish I had organised my bridesmaids dresses from there - their prices were much less and the service far, far more superior to the other company I used, which only highlighted how fantastic this business is.
