I have been coming here since 2017' 6 loans and only 3 days late in total. I have sat, talked, and…read moremet with everyone there but when I met Sabrina Cornell I realized this place has changed. On Sept.19th at 12:38 am I called Sabrina saying I am not getting notices is my loan due? She said its 32 days late, wow I was shocked. I had been receiving a lot of calls and each time I went straight to my app no new messages, I have used only the app for 7 years. I was getting the warning calls but I had just paid $5,800 on a $6,000 loan last payment and I always get calls asking me if I want to re-borrow the money so I was not needing to answer. The calls did get numerous and with each call, I went to my app and nope no request for payment. The last few calls I knew something was not right but it did not dawn on me I was only looking at the all-mighty app. I explained to Sabrina and she said pay with the app or come by. I go to make the payment on yes the app. I could not login, and forgot my password did not work I called and finally found my account is locked no way to pay with the app. Ok so I had arranged to pay at the office it had to be paid that day but can't do that either the truck was not in my driveway it had been towed and there were still 1.5 hours left before they closed. I would just say you know I was late that's fine but Sabrina knew I was going to pay that day as we agreed. When I met her there she was saying " That's why you needed to call me, what? we spoke earlier that day and it still got towed. She seemed to enjoy the entire process of what I was unfortunately going through. I asked her what happened to the app, and why I was locked out but she never answered. She said earlier that I opted out to get text messages, which I did not. While I was there she did not see me as a human being she just happily went through all the bad things that were going to happen to me to get my truck out. When I was sitting there a lady called in because she was 9 days late Sabrina told her, you know I can have your car towed on the first day. She seems to like wielding her power. Horrible person and when I found out Sabrina was the general manager? Wow, think about it all the workers do what she says. You can't put someone, especially at the top who is so grossly incompetent and so detached that they can't help or serve their customers who are trying to pay.

Out of desperation, I stopped into this little place to see what they could do for me. After inquiring about an installment loan, I was starting to hesitate at the thought of paying interest. The ladies behind the counter however were so nice! They continuously talked to me throughout the whole process and were so friendly that I almost forgot why I was there. Before I knew it they had me out the door with the exact amount of money I needed. They were very reassuring about the whole thing and said if I had any problems to come back and see them. I now have that loan paid off and out of the hundreds I borrowed only had to pay $45 in interest and that's with my terrible credit! Next time I'm in a bind I feel good that I can go here if I need to and can trust them.

The bank is located right off of a very busy intersection of state highway 377 and Broadway avenue right across from Kroger which makes it challenging at times to turn out of the lot. Another factor that makes it a bit of a pain is the elementary school down the road that makes it a bit crazy down broadway. The interior needs a face lift and it feels a bit claustrophobic because of the small size of the space and the amount of people standing in line at certain days. Frankly, I would only go to this branch in a case of emergency, otherwise I'm going to a bank that is way down the road but has stepped into this new millennium.

It's very small and has cameras everywhere (even right by your face at the tellers stand). I guess those cameras are there by necessity, but I often feel uncomfortable with this black orb-like object being so close and staring me in the face. And (I know this is not Wells Fargo's fault) it's horrible to get out from this Wells Fargo's parking lot sometimes (but I guess it depends on what direction you're going too). For me, I basically forget about getting out on Denton Hwy (usually too busy), so I get out on Broadway. The problem here is, there are people coming out of Kroger's parking lot (a lot of the time) and Broadway can be a busy street (sometimes getting backed up quite a bit). Other then that, it's a fine bank (especially since they have two ATM's available) with courteous associates.

Maybe, it's because, they are in the process of remodeling. I worked with Juana and she was really nice, personable, hospitalable and understanding. She was very organized with the paperwork and was working on closing some accounts the night before but, she had to wait on the San Antonio office to send the paperwork and they opened at 9:00 am and that was our appointment time. So, it took two and a half hours to get two accounts closed. It's a really cute building. I really don't see why they need to renovate. But, so far it looks good. The Bathroom was clean. It's one large family restroom with two commodes so, lock the door behind you. Overall, the staff is really nice and dress casual. Another Service member offered us water and more seating. Customers that entered the lobby dressed casual too. United Texas Credit Union offers a high interest rate as well. I would definitely recommend this Credit Union. It's a well maintained facility with nice people and offers a high interest rate on certain accounts.
