Unfortunately, we canceled the policy prior to speaking to her supervisor who provided helpful information, but it was too late to be of any use. Too bad she didn't mention it, could have saved a customer. We understand that emails were sent (to spam/junk so didn't see those) and 3 calls were made over 4 months with no mention of urgency re: policy increase or ways to avoid. We will take ownership of missing those 3 calls, would have been lovely if she had followed thru with a more urgent message. However it was crystal clear she had no desire to try to save our business by her condescending attitude and unwillingness to try to help. Her supervisor gave us an option but the policy had been cancelled by that time so we were stuck. If you get assigned to this office by Progressive highly recommended requesting assignment to another agency or a completely different insurance like State Farm.

It was pretty busy and the wait was about 15 minutes, but the quote was pretty quick. Said quote was laughably high...almost double my GEICO policy. But hey, it never hurts to check. Pleasant and personable staff. I got the impression, by viewing the dozen or so Direct current customers that rolled up before, during, and as I was leaving, that the company caters to people that have poor driving records and can't obtain policies from better-known, national companies. Direct may be a national company, but I had certainly never heard of them. I left the place and drove up to the GEICO office on 9 Mile and renewed my policy. But still, if you have no other options, these folks are nice.
