We had a problem with our sub zero refrigerator/freezer today. I called two other companies that could not come out to look at it until next week at best. I called to set up an appointment to replace the water hose on my refrigerator because it was cracked and leaking. They said they would order the part and scheduled a service call a few days later to install a new tube. The tech did a thorough job but the price was twice what I was expecting. I was charged a service fee for the "diagnosis" even though I made the diagnosis and they were aware of the diagnosis in advance so they could order the part. I have no dispute about the charges for labor and parts. Before you book an appointment with Advanced Appliance Services, do some comparison shopping. read more

Look elsewhere !!!!! Called whirlpool for ice machine issue and the recommended company were these guys. The gentleman that came out was great and informative. The lady behind the phone was meek in comparison. It took calling from another number to get through (after 4 calls) and when questioning a charge she was quick to shut you down and not hear out the concern. Gentleman who came to the house gave us the pricing that did not match what we were automatically charged (2x what he had priced us). Wow! Awesome Service and Great People. We have a 30 year old Sub Zero built in unit and have had issues with the freezer from sometime. I called several companies in Savannah and choose Advanced Appliance to tackle the job. Jenny (Office) was great to deal with; in fact, she even took time out of her weekend to speak to me, which is a rarity these days for sure... The technician, Daniel came to the house and was able to identify the issue quickly and we elected to go for it. He repaired the unit and it was working great! Unfortunately, a couple days later the system failed and the Freezer sprung a leak and lost it's Freon... Great timing... Just as the Corona virus is at our door steps... Requested a follow-up visit and was informed that it was a major issue and we could either purchase a new fridge/freezer or he could attempt to rebuild the unit. Very tough decision... As we will be selling the house in the near future and based upon the custom cabinets a replacement Fridge that would require no cabinet modifications is north of $16+K... After several days of being confined indoors due to Corona virus, we made to decision to have it repaired. Yes, the repair was expensive due to parts availability and the labor associated with the repair. Daniel was her for almost 7 hours rebuilding the freezer. We are very happy with our decision... I work for a general contractor, and needed some gas dryer conversion kits installed at a rental property that we are remodeling. We were providing all equipment; we just needed was installation. We were referred to Advanced Appliance Services by a relative of the owner, who also owns and operates an appliance company in a neighboring city at which they had done the same type of install. I was given a quote from Advanced Appliance Services that was more than DOUBLE what their "sister" company had quoted - and that other company even had travel costs for that property. The one where we needed Advanced to do the work was right in the same city in which they are located. I thought that was very extreme, and even tried to negotiate a better rate based on the comparison and small amount of work needed, but they were not interested. I would not recommend this company. read more
