Dr.Larkin is amazing n so is his assistant Toni girl. Larkin listened to my father's needs and concerns and pain. Way before looking at MRI which was great. He's to the point and so nice and nice looking lol. Great lobby waiting area too. Plenty of parking. read more

I was surprised by the number of bad reviews. The place is top notch. Dr Colleen Glisson my doctor that preformed my carpal tunnel surgery was excellent. I was contacted while recovering. Follow ups appointments and stitches removal everyone super-efficient and friendly. Only negative was calling the office, extremely long wait time to speak with someone. DR MCALLISTER PERFORMED A CORE DECOMPRESSION IN MAY 2023. My hips got worse and ended up with a stress fracture and both hips collapsing! I was recommended to see someone from Woodsmill Ortho! I am finally able to walk again without pain and having to use a cane! The office would not reimburse me for payment for just my out of pocket expenses for a failed procedure! read more

The surgeon was dismissive and flippant like you are exaggerating your pain. The instructions I received from him for how post op recovery would go was COMPLETELY different from what his staff told me. Post op follow up with NP, she wrote things in my electronic chart that weren't "misinterpreted," but blatant lies. Called to have an amendment made on my chart for discrepancies, nurse said she would get a message to the surgeon. He called back shortly afterwards and acted like I was wasting his time and said I should have listened to him for post op recovery and not the other THREE people on HIS team that told me otherwise. Considering I NEVER saw him after surgery or for my post op appt. He said he didn't even understand why we were having that conversation and was very dismissive of me. I didn't ask him to call me. I just wanted a note sent to the NP to amend the chart that will follow me if I ever need to provide records to another doctor. It is hard to follow correct post op protocol when you hear conflicting things from everyone that is supposed to be on the same team. Then it's a slap in the face to have him imply that I'm over reacting and wasting his time. I would not recommend them at all. read more

I made an appointment and filled out all of the required paperwork. I spoke with people there many times and indicated that I would be coming to the O'Fallon site as it was where my previous pain management doctor had been located. I even asked during the call about where to park and learned they were across from Cracker Barrell restaurant as a landmark. I was coming from Chesterfield. I didn't even know they had an office in St Peter's. After waiting weeks fo r an appointment, I arrived at the O'Fallon site and was told that my doctor didn't come to this office, that my appointment was in St Peter's. I'm 84 y/o, have required Pain Management for 12 years. I don't like to drive especially in the rain as I'm disabled and then have to get out in inclement weather that could add to my injuries, the reason that I've needed Pain Management. Canceled and would never recommend. No stars read more

Post Op follow up appointment with NP, Adina Lumley Rey, she wrote things in my electronic chart that weren't "misinterpreted" but blatant lies. Things like I needed to ween off of the sling, but that I was hesitant to do so (the sling that I was told I wouldn't have, but was told upon discharge after waking up with the sling, to wear it full time for the first two days even when I slept, then to continue wearing it anytime I left my house until I had my follow up doctor to see if I needed to continue wearing it) was false. We didn't even have a discussion about the sling. Only starting to move my arm more as tolerated. When the nurse came back in to schedule my six week post op appt, I asked her about the sling, and she said to continue wearing it while out until the swelling went down because I still had a lot of swelling and bruising. The NP always said that she had offered me PT, but that I declined and said I couldn't tolerate it. If I had been offered PT because they thought I needed it, I would have done it. I am ready to get back to normal life and start working out again. The only thing mentioned during my appt about PT was that she wanted me to slowly start moving my arm again as tolerated to prevent stiffness, because they wanted to avoid having to send me to PT. I called to have the discrepancies amended on my chart, and the nurse said she would pass that message on. The surgeon called me shortly after. He acted like I was wasting his time with this nonsense and said I should have listened to him for the post op recovery instructions that he gave me and not the THREE people on HIS team that told me otherwise. Considering I NEVER saw him after surgery or for my Post Op appt. He said he didn't understand why we were having this discussion and wanted to know what I wanted from him. He was like, "Listen, you can do whatever you want now. You can even go lift weights. It will probably hurt, but there is NOTHING you can do to hurt it or make it worse. You have no limitations." Then, after condescendingly telling me I could do anything with NO limitations, I asked him one more question. I have a large painful lump under my incision site that is where all of my pain is located, especially when I move bend/straighten my arm or grip something. I said I figured it was scar tissue, and asked if I can softly rub it to try to break up some of it and acknowledged that I know it would be uncomfortable. He emphatically said NO, and that he wouldn't recommend that and to leave it alone. It is still swollen and black and blue. I didn't ask him to call me, I just wanted the note amended by the NP, since that chart will follow me to any other doctor I may see. If those discrepancies stayed, it might look like I was non compliant with treatment. I had requested a nerve block (I see pain management for a chronic condition that could amplify my pain and the pain specialist suggested it), he said he would not do that. Day of surgery, the anesthesiologist saw that in my chart and recommended that I get one. On discharge, the nurse told me not to bend my arm, straighten it, or cause any tension to it until I saw my doctor for post op. I even had her clarify that since that is the opposite of what that doctor told me. I did not have the post op recovery that I was told I would have. It is hard to follow correct post op protocol when you hear conflicting things from everyone that are supposed to be on the same team. I would not recommend them at all and refuse to see him again. As I researched this surgery for over a month, EVERYTHING I found said it would take 2-3 weeks to be able to do normal activities. After three weeks, you could slowly start to increase weight. If you did any vigorous activities such as weight lifting and sports, it could take 2-6 months. Not the "you can do whatever you want the next day," like I was told. My recovery so far has been closer to what I researched than what the surgeon had told me it would be. read more

DON'T EVEN BOTHER! My high school son injured his hand at school during a sports activity. Someone at his school recommended him here for an x-ray. Thee biggest regret ever!! The registration process is way too long. They don't tell no doctors are there, only "doctor assistants" It's smells like a huge SCAM just to bill insurance companies. I feel his x-ray results weren't reviewed in it's entirety, reviewed by Abigail J Williams, PA-C. She was very short and indirect with us, wasn't welcoming at all, pretending to know what she was talking about. She literally told us that she didn't see any fractures on the x-ray but said to come back in 3 weeks and a fracture may appear....really?? By that time, his hand would have fully healed, so how is it possible for a fracture to just suddenly appear?? She put a hand brace on my son's hand (he was in lots of pain and swollen) then after she said it would be a fee for the brace. This should've been advised prior to putting the hand brace on. I stated his Dad is responsible for all of his medical expenses (as he is the insurance policy holder) she told him to take it off. I thought that was very rude, unprofessional and indecent to say the least. These ppl are less than smart. They're getting paid big money off scamming patients in need of medical attention. This place is a joke! Made an appointment, on Friday, in person at the O'Fallon location. Went for the appointment today only to be told that the doctor was not at THIS location, today. (After a 30 minute wait, I might add) Truly disturbing part is that it was the same receptionist today that actually scheduled the appointment for me. She first denied making the appointment, then when the point was proven, blamed the system; "it must have said (on Friday) he was here". Avoid if at all possible. Multiple visits between kids and myself. Today I was told because my insurance is out of network I needed to pay in full for the visit. I know they are in network for our insurance. Friday afternoon. Needed them to look at my shoulder/arm. Called, they told me to walk in by 3:00. Arrived about 2:00. Called the two numbers taped to the door for 10 minutes. Then I saw in small lettering that they CLOSED ON FRIDAY AT NOON. I do not recommend this place. read more
