Scheduling my appointment was the easy part. I was hoping to see to see Dr Gremillion but I saw he partner instead. First he seemed surprised to see me. He talked a lot. I asked a questions. No exam was ever done or suggested to analyze my scalp. I mentioned some soreness he approached me and touched my head and did not wear gloves. He touched my head looked and then moved his hand as if he had just touched something gross or if I was gross. He mentions some medicine his wife takes and orders blood work. Schedules appointment for December. I left feeling dismissed. I came for help and this is the care I got. None at all! I'm struggling with trusting care givers that don't look like me. I forgot to mention that my appointment was last Monday. What doctor schedules a follow up that far out unless he is trying to make sure i don't come back? By the way I am African. read more

Dr Shemwell saved my 29 week babies life…read more I was going to Conway telling them I was in labor they kept sending me home. My water broke and they almost did not want to check me, Just looked on ultrasound and I have plenty of water. Then they did the vaginal swab. I refused to allow them to send me 2 hours to LSU. I was sent to St Francis and Dr Shemwell, was assigned. I was supposed to sit and wait with a broken water. but I told Drm Shemwell Something felt off and my breech baby was sliding down. She took me back and delivered me via C section. Yes sometimes you wait but You are not the only patient in the world. They have emergencies and make sure to schedule a few hours off for these appointments.

Superior quality of taking the time to understand his patient. Does a thorough job of walking his patient through each step.
