His staff was professional and efficient, even securing me a same-day appointment. I especially valued the doctor's thorough explanations and patience in answering all of my questions during the eye exam. Product takes to long to receive, was told it would be 1 week which turned into 4. They input my info wrong and when i would call to check on my order was eventually told they had issues and have been trying to contact me and it was noted to update my info which noone would do when i call many times. Was then told i would have them by the 4th week just to be told again its not ready. read more

Last time I came here I got a eye exam. Which was needed before you can get contacts or eye glasses. The eye exam was 38 bucks. Then you could buy a pair and get 2nd pair half off. It's a great deal I had a 2 o'clock appointment, and was seen right at my appointment time so kudos to that. I had great service and great glasses I'll be back again. Parking is kinda tight as it's in a lil shopping plaza!!!! read more

I knew immediately when I tried on my new glasses that I was prescribed the wrong correction strength after my exam. However the desk associates told me that I needed to try them for two weeks before returning them. I called them the next day, and said that I was certain the prescription was wrong. They scheduled me an appointment and the doctor admitted that the prescription was wrong. I asked at the desk on several occasions for my written prescription. They said they could not provide that to me. According to The Federal Trade Commission's Contact Lens and Eyeglasses Rule 'the doctor must give you a copy of your prescription for free and with no strings attached--whether you ask for it or not'. Advanced Family Eye Care must not need to comply with this rule. read more

i have been going to Advanced Family Eyecare over a year now. Dr.Thomason is great, knowledgeable, and professional. I will admit the first time i had to get my glasses there i was less than impressed and left a not so good review. A month ago i had to get new ones, so i figured i would give them another try. well things didn't go very good and i had to take them back to be fixed. The first ones were great only they forgot the bifocals, that's why i took them back. They fixed them but didn't seem as good as the original set. i went back, this time they took the time to go over everything and made sure i was happy with them. So for this reason i give them an A+ and recommend giving them a try. read more

This is the absolutely worse place to go for eye Care. My grandmother is 80 years old and I took her there for an eye exam, we didn't purchase glasses or contacts we didn't even get her measurements so I could purchase them online or somewhere cost efficient as she only receives Medicare. They charged her insurance 1,200 for a simple eye exam that I paid $80 for my daughters eye exam. Insurance fraud is what I believe is happening so, we wrote letters to the News, Medicare, & Medicaid as they are probably doing the same thing to them. read more

I had a a diabetic exam and a regular eye exam scheduled, so I had the diabetic done and was told that. Regular eye exam could not be done,cause my eyes being dialated,so I needed to make another appointmen t, I asked if that was going to be included with the same price I was told "yes "so when I was redy to pay, I was pay ,I was told that was$90.00, but then told by other person, that it actually be 60 because I was a referral, so then made the appointment and when arrive I was told that it would be another 60 dollars, which I refused Manager kept arguing with me that I didn't understand him because he had to charge for service,I kept insisting that the charge had to do nothing with conversation that I'm focusing and the fact that I was told that wouldn't be charged again that if the charge was going to $120.00 I could've done it in my city not having to drive almost 1/2 an hour to do it .So I wouldn't recommend this buisiness, though employees are great the management is horrible,and littlerally lied to me​ read more

Jeff had it right: egotistical and rude. Left me sitting for 45 minutes so I just left. Over an hour past my appointment time they called and said "we're ready for you now." Guess they don't know what an "appointment" is. Terrible service - and rude, as if their lack of professionalism is your fault. Crowded and smelly lobby. I was seeing flashes of light and was having a lot of floaters in one of my eyes. I called to make an appointment and the person who answered was super nice and made sure I was seen as soon as possible since my symptoms could have been something really serious. Came in to my appt and all the staff was so nice and friendly, They made sure I was getting all types of scans done (I have never had such thorough exam done in my life!) The Dr. diagnosed me with a Retina detachment and was able to refer me to a specialist. I had been dealing with this symptoms for a while and no other Dr. had been able to diagnose the detachment due to being it being in a tricky spot! I would highly recommend this clinic for any type of Eye Emergency! read more
