When I was referred to them for physical therapy, I was hopeless and depressed because I felt that I wasn't get better. I spent months suffering with constant headaches, neck pain, and dizziness. However, I received several prescriptions from my neurologist for these symptoms, but nothing seemed to help. By the third visit with Therapeutic Rehab Specialists, I was beginning to notice a change in the symptoms from the concussion and neck sprain. For the first time I felt as though I was positively progressing. Dr. T (as I like to call him), has in-depth knowledge and expertise when it comes to dealing with Post Concussive symptoms. In fact, he has written several published articles on the subject. Additionally, he uses treatments like New Calm and therapeutic ice helmets to assist the brain in the healing process. Dr. T and his staff not only dealt with the symptoms of my injuries, but they dealt with the underlying cause of them. They listened intensely to my concerns and medical history, and then created a rehabilitative program tailored to my needs. Because of Dr. T, and his assistant Melissa, I feel as though I have a greater hope for recovery. If it were not for them, I would not have this confidence.
