Now they are calling me after it's been almost 2 mths since his visit and a month after his last visit to tell me the will not release his testing score until I pay them. $422! For what might I ask? Sessions felt scripted, impersonal, and often leaned into validating narratives instead of challenging patterns. There was no real exploration of accountability--just surface-level support that encouraged avoidance over growth. In my situation, serious issues were oversimplified. Rather than encouraging both parties to do the work, one was essentially given a permission slip to leave with no emotional reconciliation, while the other was silently villainized. That's not healing--that's narrative control. Therapy should be a place of truth, balance, and personal responsibility. I left feeling like the real wounds were ignored, and the person causing the damage was handed a roadmap to bypass it all. Two stars only because not every counselor there may follow this same method--but the impact of this particular experience was deeply damaging.
