I came to them Oct 2023 first time and had a male therapist and assistant intern to give me service. It went fine as I told them I am sensitive due to other medical issues. So I came back two more times once a month but the last time the straw that broke the camel's back, Nov 2023, that I was given a female therapist (spouse) who was supposed to be the best one in there. She knew her stuff but when she kept massaging me due to my pain, I kept telling her throughout the session that I am sensitive or please go light on me as we would talk so much; and the more she talked, the more she pressed so hard on me having medical issues that she would say 'sorry' every time then we keep talking and she keeps pressing harder and harder as a disabled military veteran. Her perception of 'light pressure' is different from my perception of 'light pressure' as I talked to Stephanie the next day about it. The next couple of days I was still hurting so I had to go get this pain taken care of. So, I decided to get my refund of $100 as it wasn't worth still hurting, at least partial or half of it, and the bank said I can only do whole refund. So I decided let's do this and then found out from the bank in person following up this issue through my bank that they stated from Advanced Manual Therapy response said I signed papers as to how treatment would go more like they're not responsible should something go wrong. I noticed there is nowhere or protocol policy stating that I didn't sign stating about not getting my refund, but this is what you get when you go to places like this where you get messed over and it went out of my pocket to get painful treatment. read more

One star for cleanliness- and one for the fake service I got. I came to therapy to see if I could get help with my neck area, and to possibly get cracked since I have been in pain for months. Well this place will only be nice if you have a doctors note FYI. The office girl whispered something to the student before they took me back who saw me, after she made it a point to ask me on the phone, when I walked in, and when I turned in my paperwork that I did not have a note. The physician I asked for hardly even spoke to me, she let her graduate student take care of me; they gave me some take home Exercises, put a machine on my tense back, and just sort of walked me out like I didn't matter. I was told to "follow up", and when I went to the counter, the receptionist pretended she didn't see me. When a person came inside to ask about her dads possible appointment, she right away put her eyes up, and started to help her. I was standing there like a moron- I decided I can find a decent place that would really listen, and I did. I felt like a complete joke there. This place has amazing reviews; which is why I'm extremely disappointed. I got "massaged" by the student for like 5 minutes; and I woke up worse than I went in there the next day! My neck had been ping ponging with pain when I left that office. The room smelled like a hospital too. I did make it a point to tell them about my physical therapy, chiropractic, and medical history too. I made sure I told them I was cracked when this issue happened before, and i felt relief immediately after, but they couldn't even do that. read more

While I was scowling and near tears, there was Hilario, cracking jokes as he tended to me and other patients on the gym floor. H was not just doing his job, but making people smile the whole time. They helped me strengthen my entire body, first with leg braces, and then I wanted to try to walk without braces. My doctor didn't recommend it, but my AMT team said, let's go for it. And here I am, several years later, walking unassisted, and I am definitely giving most of the credit to Jody and Mike, and their amazing staff. After my third total knee replacement in April of this year, I was referred to AMT by my home physical therapist. From the moment I met the staff, I felt very comfortable! Unlike my previous physical therapy experience, the 'manual', hands on deep tissue massage and the stretching were the best part of my recovery! Physical therapy was great from Mike, but was racially harasssed and treated terribly by the other PT. Mike apologized but I am so traumatized that I asked to be referred elsewhere. Both my husband and I have been (and still are) clients at AMT in Henderson. Having been to other therapy offices previously, we can honestly say there is just NO comparison. AMT is the BEST! I went to their Summerlin clinic after leaving another clinic that had way too many people in it at the same time as me. That place was a zoo. First time walking in this place I new it was for me. Just finished a four week stint with Jody and her team. I have been relying on their expertise and excellent care off and on for almost a year. I became acquainted with AMT after a traumatic snow mobile accident. Jody got my hand working again after a compound fracture and joint repair. She worked on my walking again as my fractured femur healed. I returned once again after the hardware removal to get those muscles working properly. Now I am on my own with a myriad of exercises, until I have surgery to repair my knee. I have been managing back pains for almost a year now. I have visited couple doctor and no one was able to tell me exactly what was going on with me. All doctors think I need pain killers but that isn't part of my plan at all. When I found this place through one of their massage therapists that used to come help me at home, I was thrilled. The place is amazing, from front desk lady to all the people in the back that will work with you. I now know what's happening with me and I can rest better at night, I have had 2 appointments for treatment so far and I feel very confident they can help me. I have a combination of evaluation to understand what the problem is, after that a session of dry needles and muscle stimulation with electric signals followed by some spine adjustments, massage then stretching. I have been feeling the difference. I intend to follow up their instructions and I am very hopeful that I will be feeling better soon and be back to my mornings biking. The team and treatment at AMT is excellent and without peer. I was referred there by my neurologist Dr. Bess Chang, and visit three times a week at the location in Summerlin.I have some serious back and disk issues and at age seventy they are not easy to deal with. Dr. Mike and his staff really know their stuff, work together as a team and make patients feel that someone really cares about helping them.Should you require any physical therapy, this is the only facility to go to. My mom is 84 years old. Her life became miserable because she had 3 failing back surgeries and all made her worst and dependent on pain killers which made her loose her memory and never was able to take her pain away. Yes, this is as good as it gets anywhere in all of the Las Vegas valley. The past 6 years, since 2011 I have been to 4 different physical therapy facilities, and Advanced Manual Therapy Institute is the very best. I first had bilateral meniscus repair and the first PT place I received treatment, was for 4 months. During the entire time, I received the same treatment every single day, no change, no variation, nothing different. I saw patients coming and going and changing all the time but for me it was the exact same thing every single day and I never improved so I finally decided to stop! Two years later I had a total hip replacement surgery and 3 months to the day later I had total knee replacement surgery, the opposite knee from the hip. I began PT at a different facility after release from the rehab facility. The hip began to heal nicely and the pain subsided within about 6 weeks or so and the knee finally began to feel good and with little or no pain after approximately 10 weeks or so. I continued with PT for awhile but I began to have problems with pain in the hip area centering in my groin area. This began shortly after I was introduced to a different exercise at PT. Although I endured the pain I continued with therapy for a few more months until the pain got to be unbearable. Now my knee fully recovered with great range of motion and the strength returned but the hip was a bigger problem. I underwent a couple of blood tests to rule out infection as well as the doctor had me in the hospital for an outpatient orthoscopic procedure to see what might be causing me so much pain and discomfort. At a later date, I had a procedure to aspirate the hip area to insure there wasn't any infection. I also, on three separate occasions, had guided injections into the groin/hip area to relieve the pain and each time the pain got less and I am now pretty much so pain free. About 6 months following all of these procedures I went to a third PT facility for about three months or so. I received treatment for my other knee that had not been replaced along with some additional treatment to strengthen my hip. This helped to some extent but as was the case with the very first place the exercises remained the same and I didn't seem to advance any further with any of the routines. Finally, in May of this year after enduring several series of injections as I had with both knees previously and prior to either being replaced, I decided to have the other knee replaced. Following surgery, and after just a couple of days in the hospital the doctor sent me home rather than to a rehab facility where I had gone following my hip replacement and the first knee replacement. I received about a week of home health being visited a couple times a week by a nurse as well as a physical therapist. On one occasion the regular physical therapist couldn't make it so a replacement came and that is when I met Josephine. Wow, what a workout! I was sore and hurting and the workout she put me through was far different from the same mundane routine the regular physical therapist had been having me do. I asked Josephine for her card and the location of the facility she worked at. I saw my doctor the beginning of the following week and he gave me orders to now pursue a PT facility and no longer the need for home health. I visited one facility really close to my home and although it came as a recommendation I wasn't really comfortable with going there. Later that day I visited the facility where Josephine was and knowing how tough she was on me and how much she pushed me I decided that was the best for me. I can tell you beyond any shadow of any doubt AMT is by far second to none! I go to the facility in the Summerlin area and everyone, and I mean everyone there is knowledgeable, well-versed, and well-trained, and extremely experienced in everything having to do with physical therapy and occupational therapy. You can expect to and will receive individualized and personalized treatment with particular attention to detail to perform all stretches and exercises correctly with the accent on proper posture and performance. AMT has helped me immensely. I continue to be treated for my knee replacement cause this knee replacement was much more traumatic than the other one and I have had a few setbacks and what the doctor calls IT Band Syndrome and I can assure you the therapy team at AMT has been on top of this all along and continue to help me to feel so much better every step of the way. I had been experiencing some discomfort in the hip area as well as my right shoulder and with both conditions I am having a whole lot of success with relief from pain along with pain free movement and flexibility.
