Got a complete eye exam and then 3 pairs of glass. (Computer, driving and motorcycle) First time ever I received glasses I could see perfectly. When the baby is sick, they get her in quickly. All of my children are patients here, and I have my new patient appointment in about a week. Oh and the appointments are always as quick or slow as they need to be! Every question answered, even if she's in the room for longer than usual.

The receptionist assured me that they take my insurance at the time of my scheduling our appointments (WellCare) and scheduled us for an appointment for the end of September. Trusting that my son now had an established doctor, I ended my search and awaited his appointment. I've received SEVERAL reminders for the appointment via text message and was there for his appointment. Granted, I failed to bring his insurance card with me, since WellCare is easily searchable by entering his ss number, I asked the receptionist if she could look him up.. at which time she rudely popped off "we don't do that here" as she was finishing that sentence to me, another woman from the office staff walked up and asked what the issue was and said "I have to have his insurance card to be able to see him today" I said I failed to bring it and apologized to which she responded to me saying exactly what she said before "I have to have his insurance card to be able to see him today" Then she asked me if it's Medicaid that he has and that they are not taking any new Medicaid patients at this time. so, I was told they did take our insurance, waited an entire month for his appointent at which Tim was talked to like I was trash and turned away. Very snobby staff, they apparently do not have good communication with each other within the office and they lack people skills. terrible service

All the other eye surgeons-- ie opthalmologists NOT optometrists who only measure for eyeglasses and recognise disease-- would not take my case. ALL the higher ranked opthalmologists (vs. optometrists who cant do surgery but Dr.s trained highly in disease and correcting vision and other eye- related problems) do is laser surgery for cataracts actually done by a computer. Shorter time; bigger bucks. Like McDonalds. She scored a ten with me on her patience, caring, knowledge, chairside manner but most importantly with her courage to take on a hard case such as mine. My surgery was 100 % successful requiring not only training long forgotten by most opthalmologists but a great deal of artistry! I saw a lot of kids in her waiting area; the parents should have confidence putting their vision in her care. Not because I am a professional (former DDS) -- or that I'm in any way related to the DR, but because she is meticulous which was needed to correct my constant cross vision with a drifting eyeball-- a stanger to my consciousness and frankly very scary! This review is honest and my way of showing gratitude to the doctor. I wanted to offer a much deserved review for a doctor and his team that truly deserves it…read more Throughout the last decade over and over when I can get up and participate in life like a normal human, when I wasn't able to do the things I can do now for years and years, I realize I owe that to God and to Dr Briones. I search for help visiting doctor after doctor without any relief or answers. We spent thousands on different options and attempts to turn my life around or just make it bearable again, all ending in failure. Then I was directed to Dr Briones. It wasn't an immediate over night miracle cure but sticking with it and giving it time, it's not like I can run a marathon or feel like I did before all this began but he keeps everything tolerable and under control (when the insurance will allow us to follow his advice) I can participate in life again. I don't sit on the sidelines or wait for my family by the exits. I am so much more active now in my 50's than I was in my 30's. Even though I still have pain and of course I would love to be able to do more I am just so so grateful to Dr. Briones, LeAnne and Emily (a wonderful former assistant) for getting me to where I am now and giving me the opportunity to enjoy life again without just watching from afar. I love you guys for treating me more like family than a patient or just a file in front of them.
