I met with Nurse Practitioner Shelby Freed on Friday for a new patient appointment., since my…read morephysician retired. The staff at the front office is very friendly and professional. The nurse Teresa was great-she drew blood on the first try, which is not common for me. NP Freed was thorough, not at all rushed. She was very interested in my wellbeing. She ordered blood tests, and referred me to for x-rays and physical therapy. I'm so very thankful to have found her and this well run facility.

Unless you would like a doctor who doesn't listen to your concerns and decides to "diagnose" you…read morewith things after 15 minutes of communication. Stay out of this place. After struggling to find a new PCP that was accepting new clients, I was extremely excited to have finally have someone and was immediately met with discomfort and judgement. Three separate physicians under Orchid Health have made me feel unseen and unheard. If you are female especially don't bother with this place, ESPECIALLY if you have had prior issues with contraceptives and wish to stay off of them (while still being responsible), they don't care. Instead they discredit you and shame you for not being on birth control, even after expressing that if I am to become pregnant, I am okay with it. Also, if you have ANY mental health concerns, be prepared to be sent to a psychiatrist who checks off a list of yes and nos and diagnoses you with barely any other communication and prescribes you mood stabilizers EVEN when you express doubt about said diagnosis. Overall this place is not here to help, they are here to check off a list and get done with their days. I would rather drive an hour to see someone that cares about me as a human than this place.
