It's worth pointing out that independent travelers going down the river would often stop by and ask our guides how to get to this or that natural or historic spot. The gear was bulletproof, the guides were courteous and helpful. The route was perfect. This is a professional organization that knows what they are doing. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

He took a break halfway through to crack open a beer and sharpen his tattoo needles on the concrete floor for the next client. I guess at least he finished it off with sharpening the very tip with a matchbook. This shop also has a bat infestation. Slimey says he can't remove them because they're endangered, but I would highly recommend getting your rabies shot before setting foot in this establishment. Also, I wanted a Lisa Frank inspired unicorn as a backpiece. We booked an entire day and Slimey showed me what he drew up and I loved it... but after eight hours laying on the table, I ended up with some demonic flames spitting pegacorn bullshit. NOT WHAT HE HAD SHOWED ME HE HAD DRAWN UP!!!! Totally different tattoo. Best thing I can say about the shop is that I got the 12% discount for letting him use his dirty sock instead of paper towels to wipe down my tattoo.

Second site was much better put hubby add to modify the sew pipe that had in ground, was way to high with no slop. So, the wind here can be very high, 50-60 mph , so make sure you have your skirting secured. They Do Not do snow removal at camp ground. Other then these issues , we did enjoy our stay. The lodge itself is spacious & beautiful, the chefs - Jeff & Courtney - are 5-star. Every meal we had was of the highest quality and prepared perfectly. The people who work there in the lodge are absolute top notch. We can't say enough great things about Laura, Shamra, Shaunna, Jill and everyone there who made sure that our stay was just perfect. We made some new friends, enjoyed amazing food & drinks and caught fish every day on the river. We both hope to come back again for this experience in the future.
