So they were on my radar screen to use for travel When a couple of "high service" agencies were unresponsive to my inquiries I noticed AAA was open Saturday mornings. I dropped by there, met the agent, got info, and began picking out a vacation. Wound up visiting 5 countries on a 15 day vacation booked through AAA. (Caitlyn Stein). PERFECT! Displayed great insights first in helping us pick out what we would like. Knew details required for planning-room choices, locations, transfers. Next, on the trip when our international flight was delayed, we contacted her from London and she notified the boutique hotel in Athens so they would have someone expecting us to get us our late checkin. We also received substantial discounts along the way through AAA.

I am writing in lieu of my wife who has been a AAA member for many years. She has used them…read moreinfrequently but this week her car ran hot and she called AAA for a tow to a nearby repair shop. The ensuing foul ups would have been unbelievable had I not been there to see her tears of frustration. In short, there were four inaccuracies in the tow company/AAA handoff which resulted in failures for the tow truck to show up leaving my wife homebound for two days waiting for the tow Truck to appear. Surprisingly, the AAA was straight forward in admitting that the errors, typos is the polite way of putting it, we're their mistakes even to the point of saying the exact same errors were made repeatedly. Honestly, the incompetence of completing such small but important clerical duties was stupefying. Thanks heavens we weren't stranded on a highway somewhere. I expect that there is very little or no management oversight in the office. My advice is not to use AAA for anything important or that can't be completed in the office Under your own supervisio.

Customer service was great, our transfers were awesome. She was very knowledgeable about location and landmarks as well.

Personalized service was what I had in mind. She never reached out to me despite getting my personal info. The company sent an email asking for yet more information. There was no personal contact/service to it. I would have expected an email from the agent specifically or a more individualized response from the company; not just a computerized email asking for more information which I assume they will sell. I no longer wish to be involved with this business.

Please someone call me and tell me why I should pay for any of this anymore?
