I love Sephora, the brands they carry, the variety of products, the brow bar, the nail bar, the eye…read moremakeup removing wipes, the nail polish remover wipes, etc... But I won't give this place a star more because of my experience about a year ago in this shop: so I was looking for a good concealer and a sales assistant came to me and showed me a couple of them, when I asked her for her opinion she said 'this one, let me put it on you, so you can see yourself', so she removed my makeup (all face) and applied the concealer under one eye, she showed me and I said it was OK, then - without me telling her to do it - she applied some foundation and blush, but only on that one side of my face, when I looked in the mirror I told her, 'ok, it looks nice but I will only be taking the concealer (I use another brand of foundation and I'm super happy with it so I don't want to change, and I only asked for concealer), but could you finish doing the other side of my face?, please' and then she made a super-bothered face and let out a huge sigh - so I told her to stop and give me the make up remover instead, I took off all the makeup and left without even buying the concealer (I bought it somewhere else)... I was upset because of the attitude of this girl, I mean, I was going to buy what she suggested so there was no need to sigh and be bothered and plus, she removed all my makeup to try on that product, what was I supposed to do, walk around Milan with only half my face with makeup?!?!
This Sephora may have lots of good products but perhaps they should train their staff better... I still come here everytime I need emergency beauty products, but if I can, I try to get them either online or at a US Sephora - cheaper, even more variety and definitely nicer staff...
