What a fantastic company! We are getting ready to move into a home that's been in my husband's family for a while, and it needed a deep clean!! Ken was quick to respond to my initial quote form and gave me a very reasonable quote. We were in a time crunch and needed to get the house cleaned that week, and he was able to accommodate us by sending out a team of two just a few days later. What we thought would be a 3-4 hour job ended up being about 8 hours mostly because of the time-consuming blinds we wanted cleaned that probably hadn't been cleaned in years. They even called in for backup toward the end to make sure they got the job done. There was good communication - every time they came across something that wasn't working out quite right or was taking a longer than normal time to clean, they'd let us know. They were thorough and efficient and communicated well, and we couldn't be happier with the results! Ken and his son worked hard on cleaning the heavily soiled berber carpet in the three bedrooms in my mother-in-law's house. People who saw the before and after photos were very impressed. There was one spot in the master bedroom which looked fine the morning it was cleaned, but later my husband pointed out that it still looked soiled. Ken and his son came back to re-clean without any complaint, and we discovered that we hadn't noticed the problem because the sun hit the spot at the time it was being cleaned, making it hard to see the dark spots. In addition to doing a good job with the cleaning, they were also very good in communicating through text messages the agreed upon time and fee, and even a notice when they were on their way within the time frame that the job was scheduled. I called several Rug cleaning places and everyone asking was over $200 for 3 rugs...it was more than what I've paid for them. If I was cleaning Persian rugs or rugs that are over $1000 worth then I can understand paying high price to clean them, but in my case it was not worth it. Stay away, unless you want to join them to clean your house to make sure they do anything. After 4 hours, they had done 1% of what they advertise they do, so I had to complain and actually clean my house with them for another 3 hours just to finish what they were suppose to finish after 4 hours. Thank you SO much!! My Dad's place was in really terrible condition. Extremely dirty, rodent waste, damaged rugs and flooring from smoking. I called around and some services wouldn't even take a look. I spoke with Aero-Clean, and they genuinely wanted to help us. I am so thankful. I cannot tell you how relieved I was to have their help. They gave us an appointment, showed up on time, and were very gracious in dealing with a difficult situation. And they completely exceeded all of my expectations!! I didn't know how much they'd be able to accomplish, but they took a filthy house and cleaned all the bathrooms, kitchens, flooring, everything. They totally went above and beyond, locating a rodent nest and eradicating it, steam cleaning the floors to remove years of ash and dirt. I'd decided to hire Aero Clean for deep cleaning, based mainly on all the raving YELP reviews and company history provided by the owners. I prefer not to write any negative reviews. However, after our horrific experience with them, I felt quite compelled to share. When Mary came to the house to give us an estimate, I'd specified DEEP cleaning for the tiles in both bathrooms and stove oven, and vent hood. The previous tenants had not cleaned the bathrooms, and I'd specifically pointed out the mold and mildew in the shower and tub. Mary assured me that the owner Ken, would use steam cleaning, and the mildew would come right off. I'd also requested the windows cleaned, including the tracks, screens and blinds. We did have to reschedule the job, due to last minute work added to renovations. Instead of hoping they would be able clean the hardened grease and food on the kitchen cabinets, we'd decided to have the cabinets sanded down and painted. We had also decided to replace the blinds instead of having them cleaned. Since these were all included in Mary's estimate and would reduce quite a bit of work hours, they'd agreed to a $64- discount from the initial estimate of $750-. Mary had assured us that the deep cleaning would be done by several workers and would be completed in two hours. I told her it's more important to get the job done right, and that there's no need to rush. Aero Clean arrived with four workers and minimal cleaning supplies. They didn't bring a broom, mop, vacuum cleaner, or step stool to reach higher spots that needed cleaning. I'd informed Mary that the flooring had just been installed, but needed sweeping and wiping down. When I'd asked what kind of cleaning supplies they use, Mary was evasive and said they use an all purpose cleaner for all the cleaning. Although I'd started to get skeptical at that point, I let them do their job, thinking that based on all their good reviews, they must know what they were doing and would take care of business. Ken had arrived with his heavy equipment, bringing hoses and grinding equipment into the bathrooms. The whole house had just been renovated and painted, including new flooring installed. The big hoses they'd brought in left black marks on the hallway walls, there were also black hand smudges left on the bath door. After about two work hours, I was taken aback when Mary announced that they had completed the job. The stove/oven was not much cleaner than when they'd started. She told me it was the best they could do, and that it was "better than it was". I'd suggested that an oven cleaner such as Easy Off would help lift out the grease and hardened food stuff. It was already over the two hours they had allotted, and she became upset when I told her it was not acceptable. As Ken came out to look at it, I opened the bottom drawer and was surprised to see that it wasn't even touched, nor the broiler pans even taken out to get rinsed. Mary told us then that she had ran out of cleaning supplies ! I just about had to beg them to finish the job, and Ken finally instructed Mary to buy more cleaning supplies. She begrudgingly complied, but still did not get an oven cleaner, and used what appeared to be pumice stone, even when I'd expressed concern about damaging the surface. She said that they had used more cleaning supplies than expected and were already there longer than the two hours allotted. She had told me the floors would be the last thing to do, but they left without even sweeping it. I won't even discuss the windows sliding door and tracks any further. After they left, I'd pointed out to Ken, the sub-standard job they did, and he finally agreed to try to re-clean the oven himself. Since an oven cleaner was again not used, the oven door, broiler pans and racks still had baked on grease on them. When I checked the bathrooms, the sinks were not cleaned, and the newly installed toilets had urine deposits on them. When I pointed out all the mold and mildew still in the bathroom tub and shower, Ken insisted that he'd used steam cleaning and it's the best it's going to get. I got down on my knees myself, and started scrubbing off the mildew and mold, using a toothbrush. I'd insisted that Ken try cleaning it as I did, since using a little bit of elbow grease had actually worked. While Ken tried to re-clean the shower and tub, we had to finish cleaning the house ourselves. Since Mary had already left with the inadequate cleaning supplies they'd brought, we had to go out and buy our own cleaning supplies. We had to clean all the closets shelves ourselves, and had to bring in a vacuum cleaner and mop to clean the floors. The ceiling fan and lighting fixtures were not cleaned, and we had to do it ourselves. Ken had to stay longer than he'd planned, but as he had witnessed while he was there, we had to pretty much clean the house ourselves. read more
