Great airport. Easy to get to on the bus and much cheaper than other options. Signage is clearly marked. Plenty of places to enjoy a bite to eat prior to boarding. Even though we were flying within Spain we still were able to purchase items in Duty Free. This is the best option and deal for water. Plenty of seating, charging stations throughout the terminal. We only had carryon luggage so I cannot comment on check in. Security was quick and a breeze. Several places to pick up last minute souvenirs. Several food options for even the pickiest of eaters. Smaller airport with a good amount of restaurants and stores for the size. Crowded when we landed as there were delays due to fog. We had to be diverted to Malaga for a couple of hours until fog cleared up. Bags arrived quickly and was a short walk to baggage claim. Saw rental car counters on the main floor. Taxi queue went quickly and only a 5 minute wait despite a busy afternoon. read more

Our hotel guided us to arrive at the airport at least two hours ahead of our flight. From our hotel near the cathedral, Uber zoomed here in about 20 minutes. It was a small airport but even with a flight to Marrakech the checkin process, security and immigration went very quickly. We had lots of time to kill so we wandered the terminals. Facilities were in good condition, decent amount of shopping including the large Duty Free shop and an assortment of restaurants. Luckily we finished a heavy breakfast buffet earlier so we were good If you're a fan of Airbus planes then this airport was next to one of its factories. Checked in to airport esrly 3 hrs lrior to flight. We had heard rumors about TAP airlines being late and delaying flights. Well our flight was delayed at 2:50pm, 1 hr before take off. Eventually we learned the flight was re-scheduled to leave 4:40pm, well that never happened. Remind you we have a connection at the Lisbon airport for NYC today at 5pm. We kind of knew we were not going to make it, nobody could tell us why the flight had been delayed. The staff at the airline, was clueless in Seville. Eventually they blamed traffic control for the delayed but i knew, i was missing my flight home. When we got to Lisbon, they explained plabe left and we woukd have to catch thr next plane tomorrow evening. Not much choice on the matter. read more

I could be wrong but that's what it seemed like to me Not many shops or places to grab food near the gates except burger king . This airport is so close to the city that it's only 20 min by cab or 1 hour via bus. However, it's good we planned to arrive early because I was stopped by security randomly in addition to some other things. They aren't very helpful about going through security and the items to take out and put in. I would come here if there's no other options, but it's not a fun place to be. The toilets were not flushed because the buttons didn't work. Also, hand air dryer didn't work also. For such a small airport you'd think it would look better. I suppose the best thing is that it's easy to get to and small so you don't need to worry about different terminals. read more

Lots of lines. Forget about finding your counter if your flight is codesharing with another airline. Had two flights - one with American Airlines and one with British Airways. No signage as there were no counters except for Iberian Airlines! So yeah confusing. There is a cafeteria of sorts and guess what! More lines. Pricey as you'd expect airport food to be however I did spot a desayuno especial (breakfast special) for 5,90€ that included fresh squeezed OJ, cafe con leche and a fresh croissant. 0 stars. My sister is a type 1 diabetic and they forced her to put her pump through the X-ray machine. This can mess up the hardware and make it malfunction. If it malfunctions she could die. We had to put it through because how else are we going to leave this city. The security needs to be educated medic devices. She has been able to go through many airports without putting her pump through an X-ray machine. If something happens to the delivery of her insulin and she ends up in the hospital or dies, Seville airport will be the blame. Be better. read more

It is a much smaller airport than I imagined. Security was light along with border patrol checking luggage ocassionally. Not a great waiting area for those wanting to see their friends or family members get through customs quickly. Overall, a decent regional airport to fly in and out of Sevilla. read more

The airport is very small. Just enough staff at the counter to assist. The wait is not terribly long but once done all else is very easy. Tip: if you forget to discard you liquids before checking in line then Let the agent know. All gates are easy to find and enough restrooms about. There are some food eateries inside, Burger King etc for last minute food. At your gate there are several stands that can be used to charge your devices. I have nothing against simple and functional. There's free WiFi, water fountain, food and shopping. Iberian Airlines uses Vueling for direct flights to Barcelona, which is a shame because there's no lounge access for One World frequent flyers.. I hear you dont miss out much compared to the Iberian lounges elsewhere. Security was straight forward. I couldn't get uber to work so I used My Taxi.. the estimate for a taxi from city centre was 10 euros but it ended up costing 26 euros (24.99 euros from airport to city flat rate). read more

Location: About 20 minutes outside the city centre. I got picked up by a cab at 8:45 and was there before 9:15. Note that if you leave earlier, you may get rush hour traffic. The place: Very small. When I tried to get in, the automatic door didn't open so I asked a guy who works here if the doors worked and he looked at me like he wanted to punch me in the face - so friendliness reigns over here. The majority of flights coming in and out are domestic, so there are just two terminals with a about 15 gates. There's a duty-free that's of a decent size, along with a few restaurants. Thus is on the K gates side - I didn't explore the other side. The area for gates K1-K4 is about the size of my condo so I hope they're not planning to board four flights at once. Service: Not much to report - the surly guy at the door will win a prize for best smile, another fellow who was very friendly asked if I was working in Spain (he works here but not sure what that's about) and the guy at the restaurant cash was also friendly. Decided to practice two hours and delayed our flight and made us buy new train tickets.

Simple, streamlined, intuitive and functional, befitting a small city. Loved it's easy to navigate, logical layout, compact no fuss size; all the staff were fantastic, easy check-in and out procedures. I usually get disoriented in airports, but not this one--awesome experience flying in and out. Doesn't get much better than this. Fyi: unlike it's sophisticated big sister city, Barcelona, this Seville airport takes you directly from plane to port without having to step outside and get onto random buses. read more

The Seville Airport Is a major regional hub in Andalusia. It looks dated but functional; a bit confusing for first time non-Spanish speaking travelers since there were no staff around to offer assistance. Most passengers lined up at Transavia counter, a regional carrier connecting passengers to major airports, Amsterdam in our case. There no self serve kiosks to print ticket and baggage tags. Allow plenty of time. We waited in line for 35 min to check in luggage. Once past security check there is a food court and shops. Our 1010 flight left gate at 1034, late departure due to Air Traffic Control delay. Flight took 2 + hours. read more

When you initially enter the airport, you'll be disappointed as it sorely needs a refresh. The chairs are super dirty, and the floor doesn't look very clean either. The lines are also really long if you need to check in a bag at RyanAir, so try to come early for your flight if you can. However, the security line moves very quickly, and the other side of the airport is actually really nice. A majority of the restaurants/shops are located after you go through the security line, so it's worth it to get through early and do some shopping if you're heading home. I loved the large shop that sold plenty of souvenir items, from chocolates to nuts to olive oils and wines. If you're flying outside of Spain, make sure you head to your gate early since they'll have to check your passport before you can get to your gate, and the line can be quite long. Another plus is that there isn't much traffic at this airport, so it's easy to get dropped off and not stressful or hectic. read more
