Easy to navigate. The security line went quickly and wasn't long. The security was friendly and let us go back and check our lamp that didn't qualify as a carryon without a charge. The food choices were good. We sat down in a restaurant and had a burger before our flight. I recommend this Airport .

This is probably one of the smallest airports you can go to for a large city. There are no jetways, you board and deboard onto the tarmac. Upon arrival, there is one side for national and one for international arrivals...and then feed into the arrival waiting area, which isn't too big either. Outside is a taxi area/pick-up area. Upon departing, there's a small check-in area, then you proceed up to security, and then into a large waiting room. There's a few snack areas and two stores, but that's about it. There are 2 restaurants, but they are pre-security. Upon boarding, the area will be a little cramped since there's not much space. They are doing construction, but it's hard to say for what.
Although this is an international airport, it is small. That said, I have to say it is efficiently run. As we got off the plane to head to collect our baggage, we were greeted by some folks with carts to ask (in Spanish) if we needed help with our luggage, and we took a woman up on that offer. As we were waiting, me and The Queen were on our phones trying to pull up our Google Translate, and we missed the sign that said use of cell phones were not allowed. A woman came up to us to point out the sign and pointed at our phone. Although we did not speak Spanish, she was super nice in pointing that out to us and we smiled, thanked her and put our phones away. Security was fast and efficient, and the gentleman spoke English as he asked the purpose of the visit. I did see some restaurants on the first floor, so there are places to get food. Airport itself was very clean and nicely lit. I can see the size being an advantage if you have to change planes as you wouldn't have to walk far. read more

This airport is very small, clean, and secure. Very similar to Long Beach Airport in California. The security area is quick and you don't need to take off your shoes. There are a couple of restaurants on the first floor before you go upstairs to the departure area. Best to check out those first before heading upstairs in case you want to eat there over the two eateries on the 2nd floor, which are only Starbucks, and this little French spot with sandwiches, salads, and pasties. Everything else up here only sell drinks. And once you're up here, you can't go back down stairs. Just keep in mind that if you do not have an iron stomach, you should avoid any food items and plates that are not hot, or any that include condiments like Mayo that are supposed to be kept at a certain cold temperature in order to prevent bacteria growth. I ended up with food poisoning after eating a sandwich at the French restaurant. Luckily I was only 1/2 hour away from home when I started feeling it, but if you have a long connecting flight after here, be warned! read more
Meh! As far as international airports go, this one is pretty small. It's got only a few restaurant and duty free options. The staff that moves the luggage is pretty efficient, and we didn't have to wait long for our baggage. The terminals are clean and well lit, and the bathrooms have all the necessary stuff. Security was pleasant and kept the peace. The signage was clear and let us know exactly where to go. Navigation was easy. This airport lacks jetways all together. You gotta walk out on the tarmac to catch a flight. Parking looks a bit challenging, but what airport doesn't have such issues? This airport could've used some public art and certainly more duty free shops. read more
Super small airport. Our flight was rerouted here since CDMX was flooded. Initially we were stuck on the plane since there was no immigration staff available but thankfully they were able to rustle them up after a few hours and we were able to disembark. Thankful for that because we would have been on that tarmac for a lot longer if not for that. read more

I love Queretaro! The airport reminds me of John Wayne here in Orange county as it is small. Security is fast and efficient. The terminal is small enough that you can get from one flight to the next if connecting without much issue at all. Highly recommended read more
WOW! You wanna talk about an airport that is easy to navigate through, it would be this one! I was only an hour and a half late before they started boarding our flight whenever it is suggested to be there 3 hours prior but with this airport, you have nothing to worry about. It was so easy to check our bags and go through customs, the seating area is small and I believe that one day it will only get bigger since Queretaro is a hidden gem for foreigners. I wish every airport was like this, clean, easy to check-in, easy to check-out and lastly VERY affordable compared to other pricier airports (I am looking at you IAH!) read more

Easy to get through security. Not much in the way of dining upstairs. The area near the entrance has more dining and shopping, but there is some above the A gates waiting area. read more
The worst airport ever. Everything about it is unorganized, sloppy, and designed to steal your money. They made us pay $200 to fix a mistake of their own worker on our passports and wanted to charge us $90 more to check 3 bags when they were supposed to be free with our airline status. The woman checking us in took 30 minutes while the staff member next to us got through 4 groups in the same amount of time. The only thing I liked about this airport was the fact I got to leave, honestly purgatory is better than this airport. read more
Why not? Why not review an airport...lol...apparently "yelp" is requesting it....lol. Odd. Anyway - it's a nice, fast to get in and out of, airport. In today's world...what else can one ask for...especially when you compare it some of the monster airports that they've become today... I'm not sure who'd look at this review and say..."hmmm...I think I'll fly into Queretaro"? ...considering it's really the only aeropuerto option in the area... read more

I have visited this airport multiple times now visiting Queretaro Mexico. This is a quick easy in easy out Airport much simpler than going through customs in the states. There are restaurants available prior to customs and restaurants once through customs. This is a very small airport but quaint and as I stated earlier easy in easy out and if you're not worried about walking you will have to do so to get to your airplane out on the runway. read more
I have used this airport many times. While it is small and still in construction, I have only had positive experiences with the building and the staff. Everyone is very helpful. My only complaint would be having to board the plane by going outside and going up stairs to enter the plane, but that isn't always the case - it depends on the airline I believe. read more

Pro's It's a small airport, so it's typically a breeze to checked in. Security is not really a hassle. If you don't have checked bags, you can typically arrive an hour before departure as in the terminal before boarding starts. There's an okay restaurant selection before you check in. There's a Logan's Steakhouse and another cafe diner. There's only 3 gates, so it's hard to get lost once you're in the terminal. Cons The terminal after security is the smallest one I've ever been in, so it can get cramped when you are waiting. When they make announcements, they usually just use a bull horn, so it can be difficult to hear. Overall: I'd rank this airport as average. There is a lot of construction at the airport, so you can tell they are making the effort to improve. I could easily see this airport becoming above average in the near future. read more

Small, very little airport. The ride out there was rough. Quick security line. Duty free is a joke though.
