My children see Dr. Gallegos, and she's been taking care of my boys for about 5yrs now…read more The main reason why I switched to Integris from our previous pediatricians is that for one this hospital was literally walking distance away, and two Dr. Gallegos is a respectful open-minded friendly doctor. My youngest son has autism, and she has been considerate, helpful, and compassionate towards our needs and wants. It was hard for me to find a doctor in Edmond that would delay vaccinate, and be okay with a different vaccine schedule, but Dr. Gallegos understood and respected my concerns as a special needs parent. My youngest gets seizures, and does not do well with vaccines so, we did our own thing to help him get fully vaccinated before school started. I really appreciate her kindness, and appreciate all the friendly staff at this Integris location.

He literally spent half the time complaining that I didn't have a list of preventative meds (which my other neurologist already sent him) aside the abortive meds I've tried. Badgering me for half the appointment and the other half was spent trying to talk me into "trying" medication. Sorry but I've tried over 20 meds and almost all have caused horrific side effects. My first visit with the Dr. was meh. I found his bedside manner needed some attention. He's not exactly warm. Regardless I was hopeful. The room is very clinical and I got a sense that I was going to have a huge issue with insurance because for 10min I was told so by the doctor. Not exactly something I would have expected. I left feeling hopeless and already making plans to go elsewhere. Later that day I contacted my original neurologist who stated he was being extremely demanding, wanting additional info when what was provided was sufficient. I agreed. I wasn't sure I would even go back to this place. I got approved by insurance (I never had a doubt till this doctor put doubt in my mind that day) and I had to call them to schedule. Not exactly on top of things there. I was able to be granted access to his practice for treatment prior to NOVEMBER. Seriously I had waited months already for this short and not-so-sweet consult and I was not going to wait months for treatment. When I came in for treatment, I brought my neurological treatment report from my previous neurologist because, well, IT WORKED. I waited about 30min or so for my appt and the nurse handed me a cold pack to put on my forehead. Not something I've ever needed so this was kind of putting me on the defense already. When the doctor finally came in I asked if he had received it and was told I'm a very cold tone "I do things MY way". Uh okay... what exactly is that I asked. He didn't go into details but explained himself in a very short and curt way. Basically what he opted to do was fewer injections and less of a dosage in total but more Botox into each site. I saw and read the neuro report he sent to my other doctor. It's been a week and I've had zero relief. I have had tons of migraines still and two full blown cluster headaches which have resulted in my crying like a baby in a ball, rigid and drooling on myself. My shoulders and neck are just as stiff as they were before and I've seen zero noted improvement. Now I have had Botox injections before and every single time, I had relief by now. Typically within two weeks I was symptom free. I also had received more shots and more units (100 more than this doctor gave me). So as far as this experience goes...meh. I've had better. I will gladly update this review once I have a better experience with this doctor. And I do plan to follow up after the holidays to see if I can have him do any more injections or if I am stuck waiting to see my other doctor - who btw is 100x better even with his off-putting bedside manner which some report. I would love to see how any of those same people who complain about that doctor would react to this experience.

Very interested in what I have to say and very thorough in explaining everything. Pays attention, remembers details about my personal life. Once I ran into him in the elevator while taking my son to the pediatrician in the same building and he remembered my son's name. I was very impressed. My favorite thing about him as that if the wait is long he comes in and apologizes and thanks you for your patience and lets you know that if the situation ever warrants he will gladly return the patience to you.

I NEVER saw…read morethis doctor but she lists herself on my insurance and paperwork stating SHE spent X amount of time with me when really it was a PA who saw me not her. I would not recommend this place at all. The staff are disorganized for the most part rude and abrasive. When you check in they have a sign up stating you can obtain a flu shot, so I asked for it to be done and the girl said she would run my insurance and have whoever took me back to the doctors office take care of me. That never happened. The only person who did a full intake on me was very nice and thorough but rushed. The moment she was done with paperwork she was walking out of the door and said someone would be in to show me how to use the at home device. Mmmk. A staff member came in and was rushed and pushy. She put a bunch of other paperwork in front of me and said I had to sign paperwork stating I would pay $4,000 in case I didn't return the equipment. She also had me put my credit card number down which I did not appreciate one bit as I had everything covered by my insurance so I had no reason to give up my cc info to a place I've never been before. I was pressured to sign this before she would even explain how it worked or allow me to fill out my other paperwork. I wasn't even allowed to sign the privacy policy until I sign the payment info which I was later told is shredded after the equipment is returned but who knows. She just said my cc would be charged $4,000 if this equipment wasn't returned at a specific time. After she did a very quick demo for me and rushed me out of the room. I asked about my flu shot and when I was going to be notified about the data and she was rushed and just said "I don't know and you'll hear from us" and showed me the door. I asked the first girl I spoke to about the flu shot and she spoke to the woman who walked me out and they were both pretty clueless. The other staff said it wasn't something they do anymore. I explained if that was the case, they should remove the sign from the check-in window as it misleads their patients. The sleep study I attempted to do I was told was completely optional for me by the referring doctor, yet I was told over and over by this staff how I needed to do it. I wasn't able to do it anyhow because the equipment given to me actually obstructed my breathing! Go figure. I returned the equipment with no data since I couldn't use it and asked what exactly they would be billing my insurance for since the only thing they did was an office visit and staff had "no clue" as they put it. I made them give me a receipt because I just didn't trust them at all. I looked up the cost of the device they claimed would cost me $4,000 and it's only worth $250 lol. They also spammed my email about 10x within 24hrs. I got a call from the only person who did my intake and I actually liked and she gave me this attitude about having to note my chart to my doctor and I explained this was optional and I didn't do it because the equipment didn't allow me to breathe properly out of my nose and I don't breathe out of my mouth, especially when I sleep (as most people with sleep apnea do, and I don't have sleep apnea lol). My overall experience was a waste of my time and I just got the sense they had no understanding on how to deal with patients. It's sad that I ended up here solely by a referral from a doctor I really like but because of this I have less faith in. I will be sticking to my hospitals clinics only from now on. Regardless of referrals. I'm not sure why this sleep study clinic is attached to this doctors office because the way the sign lists it makes you believe it's two locations but it's not and I never saw this doctor. I also noted in billing they never listed specifically why they billed my insurance for the amount they did, but regardless they are very poorly operated and I'm writing this review to allow other Yelp members to avoid having to deal with what I went through. Even my fiancé said the place seemed like a real scam. He's been to a sleep study doctor and this isn't anything like a real sleep study clinic.

Bringing my doc up to five stars, due to the recent addition of a new doctor to the practice. After…read morefeeling sick for a few days, I called this morning to make an appointment. Lately it has gotten harder to get in on short notice, but I called at 9 am this morning and they got me in at 10 am, as long as I didn't mind seeing the new doc, Dr. Cail. I was in and out in less than an hour, and the new doctor is really great. He is friendly, funny, and explains everything very throughly. I left with an Rx for a Z-pack, some over the counter orders, and a directive to call back if I wasn't feeling much better by Friday. I'm happy to see this doctor anytime, and I think he will greatly improve this practice's ability to take care of their patients.
