It's been a hot minute, but when I finally went to use it, I was told it was no longer valid. I was honestly embarrassed and caught off guard. What's even more disappointing is that I would have happily spent twice the amount while I was there. Unfortunately, the experience left a sour taste and just isn't good business.

I was told by…read morethe person in charge that it was a great deal for me since they would be closed Saturday and Monday for Labor Day and I would be only charged for a 1 one day rental if I had it back before the gates closed at 4:30 pm on Tuesday 9/2/25. I returned the equipment at 2:08 pm on Tuesday and upon checkout I was told the equipment was due back at 8:30 am on Tuesday, and I was charged nearly a full extra day, $306.16. If I had been told it was due back at 8:30 am I would have had it back on time. UPDATE: After posting the one star review, I noticed I had a 10 am voicemail from the person in charge that I spoke to at Lindsey inquiring about the return of the equipment. However, I still know what I was told. I should have known to get it in writing, it would have taken five seconds for me to have him write the deadline with the date and time of return and initial it. The people that worked there and assisted with loading and unloading were very helpful and friendly and other than the issue with the return time, the person in charge was also friendly.

Really great company!…read more If, like me, you can't sit in a chair like a normal human person, Ikaria is the company for you! I've followed them online for a long time and have finally made a couple of purchases within the last year. Their main offering is their Soul Seat - which is a backless chair for active sitting. It comes on wheels or on a bamboo base. It's kind of a lily pad shape with an adjustable cushion on top which they call the "perch". You can move the whole seat and the perch up and down. It's designed to be versatile for various seated positions - cross-legged, legs to one side, squatting, kneeling etc. You can also sit upright on it with your feet on the floor. The whole thing is that you use your core to sit up and keep your back straight. I've had neck issues for years now and part of my problem is that I hate sitting with my feet on the floor. I'm always pulling my legs up which, in a regular computer chair, usually makes me overextend my arms or slouch and push my neck forward. So the Soul Seat has been a revelation for me. It took awhile to decide to make the investment - both because it's pricey and because I worried I wouldn't find it comfortable. I was concerned I'd be sore from using it, at least til I got used to it. But I'm a couple of weeks in and it's going great! Although I'm relatively short (5'4") I went for the large size because I wanted to be sure that I could spread out - and I'm glad I did. Before going whole hog with the chair, I eased in by buying a Flow Desk. It's a bean-shaped little table for sitting on the floor. Again you can sit cross-legged, or legs forward, or even put it on top of your desk to make a standing desk. The table top is about 11" off the ground and the legs are sturdy metal. I use it mostly for sitting on the floor and writing longhand, not so much for computer use. I like to place a yoga blanket on the floor for comfort and either sit upright with my legs under the table, or sit against the wall. It's stylish, functional, and easy to move around. So, the ordering process: it's a small company and they aim to fulfill orders within about 6 weeks. They send automatic updates to let you know that/if everything is running on time. When I did email with the staff they were super friendly and helpful. My seat took a week longer than anticipated, which they communicated. Both of my pieces were shipped with UPS. Both items came super well packaged, nothing was damaged or even bumped. There were only a few steps to build them. They have videos to show you how.
