I purchased a washer and dryer set from Appliance Warehouse for $1000. We are a…read morepaycheck-to-paycheck family and were looking to save money. Buyer Beware. Only a 30-day warranty, no refunds, no exchanges unless you let them work on it first---and they don't make house calls. The dryer melted wiring causing a fire hazard and the washer never did work properly but became completely unusable after 3 loads. The washer start button was unresponsive at times or blinked incessantly to where the only way to stop it was to unplug it. During the 3rd or 4th load, the process stopped after the rinse cycle and drained without spinning. I had to wring out every piece by hand and take the loads to the laundromat to do drying. Now I am in a worse spot than before I went to Appliance Warehouse because I paid for a terrible product that he won't come fix and I have no way to get to him to fix, and I paid for the haul off for my old washer that still had life left. Clearly David is not a good repairman who stands by his work. I called a real repairman out and he determined the repairs would cost more than $550! That plus the $100 service fee and I could have had a brand-new smart washer and dryer set.

She didn't bother to inform us about the "scratch and dent" area, which might have saved us some $$. We felt that we had to accommodate their delivery schedule without any consideration for our schedule. We ended up going to another company who treated us with respect and seemed to value us as people and as customers. Metro Appliance? NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

Called frigidiar agian send the same guy out again with same part. did not work again. REpair guy called tech support only to find the part was incorrect and the correct part wont be available until July 29, 2025 so I can wait a week after to get part (maybe) then another two weeks to see the reapir person so by this time it will be close to 3 moths without what I paid for. If Metro wont service what they sell then maybe they shouldnt sell theh product? I even offered to bring the cooktop to them only to be told NO.
