We have used Affordable Tree Service 4 times. We have used them for small trees and enormously tall trees. The crews have been professional and careful to not damage the lawn. Lee has been easy to work with, knowledgeable about the trees and has great equipment for the job. read more

Very Unprofessional. Left a Huge Mess! Destroyed our Raspberry bushes. Killed my childrens watermelon garden while they were pick up limbs by stomping all over them. Ruined My brick walk way. Broke my Solar pathway lights. Cost me alot to repair all the damages they did. Do Not Recommend as they are the worst tree crew I have seen. read more

The owner began this business in 2013 with a truck, a borrowed trailer, and a dream. Within the last 5 years the business has grown to include residential tree removal and trimming, municipality tree maintenance, and utility line clearing for both city and local power companies. As TCIA members, each year our team of employees is better educated than the previous year through certification programs such as EHAP, CTSP, ACRT, Urban Forestry, CPR, etc. While tree trimming is a highly dangerous career, our arborists are hands down the most skilled, qualified, and safety motivated in Northwest Alabama. ATS is licensed and insured with a BBB A+rating. Our customers have assurance that any unforeseen accidents will be taken care of without any cost to them. We also provide our employees with Workman's Comp, BCBS Health Insurance, all the proper PPE to wear on job site, and basic training from groundhands to expierence climbers. Theses guys and girls are jokes. I asked them to move the neighbors cars off the lawn they get a attitude they said they only talk to the homeowner since im renting. They crush my horseshoe boxes bent one of the stars. They claim they didn't see them even though it sticks two feet out of the ground. They definitely need to hire people that don't think they better then people who rent homes. Half of them don't speak English or acted like I was speaking a foreign language. The lady who would give me her name but wanted to but in the conversation. She said we own we don't rent . I told her im sorry to hear that. The tall guy who they said was in charge. Said he not moving the car cause he doesn't have to. The car is now cross the street like it should of been in the first place. I got off work early for this. I have used Affordable Tree Service on several occasions in the past and was very pleased with the work. I have had them cut down large and small trees and trim others. I have called on ATS several times for tree and stump removal. They are fantastic! Professional, careful of property, transparent, and friendly to deal with. It's a cliche, but when they finish, the trees are gone and it's like they were never even there! They clean up the debris nicely...nothing left...even pine cones!
