Purchase was seamless. Everything else feels like a total scam! 1. I found a fridge on the website and called in to confirm the measurements. The sales guy on the phone initially said that it "should fit," to which I replied that I need a confirmed measurement. He puts me on hold (presumably to use and actual tape measure to confirm dimensions), then comes back to confirm that it will, indeed fit. I go in the next day to pay for the unit and deliver/install. 2. My tenant takes a day off for delivery, only to find out that they will NOT install a fridge connected to a plastic or copper waterline, and that they will NOT access a crawl space to shut off the water for the install. NONE of these details were given to me when I paid for the DELIVERY and INSTALL. They took the fridge back and left my tenants hanging with a faulty fridge, but also left with a promise to contact me to reschedule the delivery. I wait three business days and never hear a thing - so I take it upon myself to call them. I received some eyerolling apologies and rescheduled the delivery - which was still another week out. 3. Fridge is set to be delivered, my tenant takes another afternoon off of work, only to find out that the original sales guy never actually measured the fridge - it does not fit as it measured over 35" when the original sales guy told me it was less than 35" and assured me it would fit. I call and throw a fit, and a very apologetic sales guy assured me that he was going to make it right. He promised that he would go through the entire inventory at all of their locations to find a fridge that is comparable to what I purchased, but that will actually fit. I spoke to him on a Friday, he promised to get back to me on that following Monday. 4. Two Mondays have since passed, and 10 days total, and I still did not hear anything and was forced to call them again. A very unapologetic sales guy agreed to refund the money, but made absolutely no effort to acknowledge their screw up, or the fact that my tenant has now been a full month with a faulty fridge. As a matter of fact, he only had a record of a purchase and a delivery, but not anything else that has been going down. He gave me a number for someone in "corporate" (he first said president, then CEO, then manager). I'm probably not going to hold my breath. read more

I bought a floor model washer and dryer and a used refrigerator. 1: Delivery I set up a Monday delivery... took off work Monday because of a mid day delivery.. I got a call mid day, they were given my address from 4 years ago (I filled out all paperwork to be current when purchasing, at the desk, all the right paperwork) they told me I was out of their delivery area and that we'd have to reschedule for Wednesday. I get an email Tuesday saying I would receive a call about delivery Wednesday. I do not, I call the next day and they say I should be getting a delivery between 3-5pm. At 4pm I get a call from a driver telling me it would be delivered the next day between 8am-10am. So now I'm out 2.5 days of work. Appliances arrive, drivers were cool, no worries there, they tell me to wait 8 hours. I do so and guess what...? 2: 2/3 don't work and the washer is leaking... The dryer turns on but nothing happens after hitting the start button. The Fridge doesn't get cold... the freezer doesn't get cold, they're both fanning like warm air.. The washing machine worked, but leaked from underneath... It's 10pm now Thursday, I have to figure out how to do my laundry, after taking 2.5 days off of work, and I'm leaving Saturday for a wedding. I have no time to get this done without taking more time off of work. Hi I'm calling first thing tomorrow, if this isn't resolved immediately, or I have a waiting time for a service person, I'm going to lose my shit. Does this company even try? Now it's the following Tuesday, I was promised a new set washer/dryer. Called and was told they don't have them and they are in bad condition. We asked for a refund and our old washer and dryer back. Apparently the store has already scrapped my old washer and dryer, which means I currently have nothing. They asked to send us repair, but can't give us an appointment because we don't know the serial number. Well didn't you sell me the washer and dryer? The customer service is complete dog shit. I was just hung up on for being "rude"... what kind of business do you run? All I want is my old stuff back and a replacement fridge. I come here for all my appliances but especially for my rentals. They are a breeze to work with and have quality appliances and low prices. What more could you ask for when a tenants fridge goes out on New Years? Withheld a star only because appliances are hit and miss, some work, some don't. Have had to take back many appliances from here but they always take them back and usually upgrade me at the price I paid. read more

Ordered a full size 68" fridge for delivery. Delivered a 60" fridge on our porch (which no one signed for), and then refused to replace with the correct order. Horrible customer service. Once they make the sale, they will very much try to avoid you. read more

Getting a used kenmore front load washer/dryer for $550! Can't beat that! To further update my review- after delivery everything came to $610. The washer and dryer are now hooked up and function perfectly. I will continue to use this business for ALL of my appliance needs. read more

I have bought washers and dryers here since the used section was still called Appliance Factory Warehouse (no mattress king). For some reason my husband and I just got a little unlucky this time. Darryl and Erik, inside the store have been AWESOME in helping us resolve the delivery problem (my fault because I had to drive here from Las Vegas NV overnight Monday and was up for more than 36 hours straight so I didn't hear a knock and our doorbell is broken) then getting us the right cord for the dryer. Then the dryer started squeaking horribly. Darryl was GREAT and had no problem with getting us switched to a different dryer that we chose. After we got the 2nd dryer hooked up it ran for a few minutes and sparks flew from the outlet. Erik was also GREAT and got a tech to come to our house and find out what happened. Jay and Luke came out the next day and quickly found the problem. A screw inside the outlet cover came out of the wall. With all the moving (we just bought our first house) and vibrations the screw fell onto the metal inside the outlet cover and it fried the dryer cord. Jay and Luke were GREAT because they changed the outlet on our wall (wiring was good and the dryer was still good thank God) and gave us a new dryer cord. They ckd the machine before they left. They didn't have to chg the outlet part and it was a problem on our end so they could have charged us for the cord too. They did all that work (it didn't take very long) and didn't charge us and put it under the 90 day warranty that comes with their appliances. I liked the store a lot before but now I LOVE this location. I went to other locations in the area before because of where I used to live. I would recommend this store to EVERYONE!!! The staff I worked with has been the best customer service I have had in several YEARS. We really love our washer too!! read more

Ugh, I wish I wasn't writing this review. It started with a need for an affordable washer and dryer set. We decided to check out some used units and I seriously regret the decision to got o Affordable Used Appliances. Michael helped us pick out a set and answered some questions for us regarding size and installation. He was incorrect on all account. I asked him to measure the units to make sure they would fit in our 60" area. He assured me that all washers and dryers are a standard 28" width. Of course, he sold us an oversized washer that nearly did not fit into the space and quoted us an incorrect quote on installation and warranty. However, that was the least frustrating aspect of the transaction. Kegan did the write up and bill. When it all came to a head, our $300 set with delivery, installation, and warranty came out above $550 total. Kegan was generous enough to work with us a bit on a few of the charges. He discounted the total by approximately $100. I appreciated that. However, saving $100 was not worth the interaction with this company. We paid extra for a Saturday delivery and Kegan let us know that they would call us on Friday night to give us a 2 hour window for delivery time. Friday came and we never received that phone call. We called Kegan two hours before closing time to figure out what was going on. He said he would figure it out and get back to us. He never did. Saturday morning came around and after one voicemail and four phone calls, Kegan tells us that there has been a mistake made, in some form due to the delivery department, and that we will not be receiving our washer and dryer as expected. He said it will have to be delivered the following Monday. I request that it be after 4:00pm so we don't have to take time off work. He cannot agree to that. Kegan advises me to call the delivery department to speak to Frank to arrange the 4:00pm delivery. Speaking to Frank was like conversing with a child. He was rude, unprofessional, and so obviously unqualified to be deemed the Delivery Manager. Frank stated that he could not guarantee a 4:00pm delivery because of the routes and number of deliveries. I told him what had happened thus far and asked that he rectify the situation, even if it meant that the route may be a bit out of the way. He rudely declined and interrupted me every time I tried to speak. To make matters worse, we again, never received the call for the two hour delivery window. I called the delivery department again and spoke with someone who informed me that we were not on the schedule for Monday, either (thanks to either Kegan or Frank that can't correctly do their job). He generously added me to the schedule, but I wasn't holding my breath. Finally, on Sunday night, we received a call from the driver stating our delivery window. The washer and dryer set were delivered on time and professionally. I can honestly say that the delivery team was nice to work with, but also confirmed that Affordable Used Appliances has a very hard time getting their orders and customers straight. I highly recommend finding another used appliance business to find what you're looking for. Now I've paid $450 for a washer and dryer that I HOPE will work well for the next few years. Because if there is an issue, regardless of the fact that I've purchased a warranty, I know that it's highly unlikely to ever be resolved. If you do buy from here, take the unit(s) home yourself and pay someone else to install. Don't purchase their parts, warranty, delivery or installation and you'll save yourself a huge headache. read more

I have been going to this place to get all my appliances for my rental properties for the last 10 years. I have always been able to get a good deal from them. With $50 of annual warranty, you get a new fridge if there is any issue without any shipping/haul away fees. They charge $60 for delivery and haul away which Lowes and Home depot don't do any more. Home depot don't even sell appliances online without charging you for shipping fees and if you have any issues, you will be talking to a robot on the phone. Lowes only offers delivery and haul away as a promotion once in a while. I like to touch and feel my appliances. You cannot do that with Home depot. This place will beat any Lowes or Home depot prices. I bought a brand new microwave from them for $10 less than the $149 on sale price at Lowes. The more you buy, the cheaper is your delivery and haul away! read more

Bought a washer from them after we took it home and installed it,it had a bad whine when rinsing.so the service guy came and looked at it and said it needed a new transmission and that we had to take it back to the shop if we wanted it fixed, they wouldn't do it at the house,so basically we bought a washer that was not working on all cycles and went out 2 months later , we received absolutely no satisfaction what so ever from this company and do not recommend them. read more

I am on my 4th used fridge since Jan 2, 2016 from the Thornton store- With the first fridge the delivery time was missed and I was still charged a delivery fee. It was a faulty fridge and all my food was spoiled. They said they would replace it, and guaranteed me a delivery time which was a lie and never met. The second fridge eventually arrived and never worked and had to be replaced. The third fridge worked for about 10 days and again had to be replaced after all my food had been spoiled. The 4th fridge was guaranteed by the store to be delivered first thing on Saturday morning, which was another lie and they did not show up until 1pm. This one worked ok as long as you did not turn the temp dial to the coldest setting. It has worked for one month and now is not making ice and anything set on the top shelf of the freezer will not freeze & again all food spoiled in the fridge. I contacted the cooperate office and was directed to a woman named Kim, she tried to direct me to the used store and I explained I wasn't getting anywhere with them and needed a different solution i.e. a refund. She said she would contact the store manager Keegan and then call me back. Several hours after no return call I tried to contact Kim and she refused to speak to me and had the person who answered the phone tell me that Keegan was supposed to call me. He did eventually call me and I did go down to the store, got a refund of my original purchase price and paid extra money for a brand new fridge to be delivered today. I do have to say that the one bright spot was Keegan, as he did finally understand my frustration and did try to help as much as possible. read more
