Once that was sorted out our food came out promptly and it was by far some of the best tasting tavern food I've had for the price. I had the 300g rib fillet with veg and chips and mushroom sauce and my wife had the parky salad which was like a chicken Caesar salad with avacado and mustard based dressing which she loved. Anyway to anybody considering this place, I am sure it would have been nice except it isn't exactly 'table for one' friendly. A short walk down the esplanade I found a better place just as busy and was served straight away. Plenty of places to choose from in Yeppoon, nobody has to put up with poor service.

Don't let that detract you, though, as it was still a really nice place with lots of parking out of the front. The restaurant was also very large and could easily fit a large group in. We ordered the spring rolls and curry puffs for entree and the green curry and beef with garlic sauce for mains. It was all really decent food, though I would say that the coconut rice was not very coconutty (Is that a word?). For the two entrees, two mains, three beers and two soft drinks it came to $106, which isn't too bad for three people and we were all very full afterwards. Overall, it was a very nice meal and a good local Thai place in Rocky. Cheers.
