Look, our other car (2016 Grand Marquis, 200,000 miles) went kaput and we had to go out within a week and buy another set of wheels. I did the study, found a the right replacement options and in one day lined up looking at four different lots. (even out to El Reno, Diffee, won't make that mistake again!) The car was ready for us to drive, they were very polite, worked with us on financing and we got the car. We are happy with the car, and whenever we had a question those guys were there to work with us. Are they a note lot? Yes. If you pay your car payment on time, will they seize your car? Absolutely not. We could've found other options to cover the loan, but their company was easy and accessible than other options. Bottom line, I'm confident we made the right decision about the car and about choosing Flair Auto Group as our dealer. We would come back to Flair first, if we ever needed to do that in the future, especially if Kaz was still there.

I came to my rating as an average of the two scores for sales and service. Sales is always five…read morestar; however, service department always underwhelms me. I've sent trucks in for repair that came back broken. When I look at the ticket, it says that they were unable to verify the issue. Unable to verify that the ignition was broken? Really? I didn't have any problem verifying that it was still broken when I picked up the truck. When I took the truck back, I asked the service adviser what the issue with the broken part was only to be palmed off on the cashier to explain to me what the service department did to fix my truck. Really? The service department isn't all underwhelming. The last two times I took my truck in for a repair, I was directed through the Fast Lane. Honestly, I felt relieved that I wouldn't have to go through their standard service advisers because I didn't think I could make another pass through there and maintain my sanity. The service staff in the Fast Lane are always very friendly and very interested in ensuring that I get my truck repaired correctly every time. They're also very good about keeping me informed about what's happening with my truck, which I sincerely appreciate. I'm fine with whatever they must do to repair my truck as long as they fix it and I don't have to make two or three trips back, but the communication with the dealership is always very nice because it allows me to plan more appropriately when the repair is complete. Honestly, the Fast Lane is the only reason I still use Reynolds Ford service. Were it not for them, I'd most likely find another dealer to service my truck while it's under warranty.

I brag about this dude to anyone who even casually mentions that they're having issues with their vehicle. Right now I'm dealing with some obnoxious and shady nonsense with a car dealer, and the one silver lining in all of it has been that I got to witness firsthand how George was willing to go to bat for me because I was one of his customers. He did a full once-over on a used vehicle I was considering, and pointed out things on the vehicle that I had not noticed at first glance. He also gave me some advice on dealing with unscrupulous car dealers, and I didn't listen and now I'm dealing with the consequences, so even there he was right. And this has just further reinforced that he's the guy to go to for everything from standard maintenance work to full-on automotive body repair (e.g. check out the excellent work that he did on my brother's car). Something tells me I'm going to need to reach out to him again very soon. But again, because it's George, I'm actually not terribly annoyed about needing his mechanic abilities or having to spend my seemingly limited paycheck on car maintenance. Because he's not just a capable mechanic. He's a good, ethical, hard-working dude who also happens to be a capable mechanic. Trust George, you guys. He is good peoples.

When I visited him last time, he took a quick look over my car and quickly told me that I would be good not fixing anything for a while. Which is the thing that I most like in a mechanic. It was clear that he knew what he was doing, and as my cars slowly circle the drain of time, I'm confident that he will tell me what needs to be fixed, what can be fixed, and when it is time to give up the ghost. A couple times if a certain car caught our eye, we'd be instantly cautioned: "you don't want that one", because he knew we weren't looking for "a project". Once, the car my daughter bought behaved strangely on the highway, making her nervous; another time one I bought showed an oil leak in my driveway after a few days. In both instances, even though the cars were sold "as is", returning them to either have the mechanic look them over, or to choose something else, was not an issue at all. I appreciate a guy who treats people decently. This is always the first place I'll stop when looking for a second hand automobile.
