I got a spray tan. It was beautiful and even. I didn't shower until the next day, to be sure it would stay. After showering, half of the color washed off. The tan was supposed to last about two weeks, but it was completely gone by my third shower. It only lasted less than a week. read more

I finally found some free time to go in and when I went inside to ask for a spray tan, they said they weren't able to because no one was in for sprays tans that day. They suggested I call and schedule ahead of time. Totally fine, I get it. I've called TWICE (once last month and the other this month) & at BOTH TIMES they have said they would call me back after they call the person that does the spray tan and let me know days/times they will be there. I waited...& waited...& waited. No call, ever. I gave two stars because they were at least friendly each time I spoke on the phone and when I went in. If I could give this place no stars i would. I used to come here before and they did an amazing job on my spray tan but apparently they had a change of ownership which I was unaware of. I was told that the usual girl who does spray tanning would come in for my appointment on her day off but when i showed up she was not there and the esthetician did my spray tan. My tan was the worst and most uneven and blotchy tan i have ever experienced and i was going out of town for my birthday needless to say i will never ever return to this place or recommend anyone to go there. They make sure the beds are clean before we enter, and are friendly when we leave. Love the stand up and lay down bed option(s). I've been going to AfterGlow since Fall of 2019, and I couldn't be happier! They really care about the experience their clientele is given, and I am very pleased that I've never had to wait for a bed, (but, I only tan in the afternoon/evening after work, so it's not the busy time, so I'm one of the lucky ones). The facility is extremely clean and always stocked with clean towels and affordable lotions that work great with the beds and don't leave you with that "tanning bed" smell. The rooms are spacious compared to other places in the area that I've tanned at, and they are always playing good music, just in case you forget to bring your earbuds. The prices are very affordable and they have several options to choose from, (you can buy minutes, buy unlimited packages, or buy sessions, it's your choice). This is the only tanning salon I've found that honestly tries to cater to the client and what they want. Ally, the owner, is very polite and personable, and once they reopened after the COVID-19 shutdown, she actually called to let me know I could tan again. It is nice that when I walk in, they already know who I am and they double check how long I want to tan for. Went there for my 1st time today. What a great tanning studio! I've been to many in my time and I can say this was one of the best I've been to in quite awhile. It's so Clean!!! That's a #1... Also I was greeted by a lovely receptionist who was very attentive and helpful. I was provided complimentary goggles & towel as well. Let me just say it had an overall great vibe, it was such a cute studio. I was in a little bit of a rush so I didn't get to shop but when I was walking back I noticed that they also sell cute bikinis which is a fun bonus!! Love this place! The new owner Ally took over and transformed an older run down salon into a super clean, bright and sheek tanning salon that now is AfterGlow! I know all of us long time customers appreciated the new look and amazing customer service her and her staff offers. She moved locations and that was the best move she could have made. There is much more parking and it's in a much nicer part of the shopping center. She has put her own personal touches on the place and sells cool and sexy swim suits and jewelry. the staff here is so friendly and they did a great job on my spray tan. standing naked in front of a stranger is never fun but they were so polite and light hearted that it made it not so bad. my tan lasted 7 days before it started to get blotchy (partially my fault because i had a swedish massage with oil on day 5). color was perfect after the first shower and i can't wait to go back. so much better than laying out in the sun to tan and damaging your skin. read more

Regarding service this place is great, the owner must be a great judge of character because over 5 years I've never seen the same staff member twice, but each has been friendly, attentive, and accommodating. I only get mystic tans here. I haven't used the beds so I can't speak to their quality or comfort. The mystic booth is never out of order, but maybe it should be... sometimes. Or perhaps just cleaned a little more thoroughly between patrons. What keeps this from a 4 or 5 star review is the overspray collects on the walls of the booth... sometimes resulting in a "supertan" spot on your hip or elbow if you are even slightly clumsy (I am) and manage to tap the walls inadvertently As a workaround, I have always wiped down the walls before I get in with the previous customers used towel (I know. Gross) and often that's enough. But sometimes the buildup is pretty thick and I have to be extra careful. They have all the things you need here.. stickers and goggles and footies etc. Reasonably priced tans and accessories. They also sell some cute clothes and jewelry Pacific tan keeps good hours, seasonally, but definitely call ahead if you are planning to come in the last half hour of the hours posted.
