Paid them £1000 for nothing We were trying to do a move to beat the stamp duty deadline. Got a few quotes, went with AGB as they seemed really good. They explained the process that a place in the queue wasn't guaranteed, they would warn us if availability wasn't assured. And indeed, they kept calling us back and letting us know. As the original date approached and it was clear that we may not make it due to issues our side, they tried their best to accommodate us. But ultimately we had to pay a cancellation fee of £1000. Now, I appreciate why these things exist and I accept it sometimes happens that you have to pay a fee, especially because the issue was on our side. At that point things seemed to turn. The company gave us a new target move date which we then began to work for. What was different this time around is that they didn't keep calling us back to keep us appraised of the queue. A few days prior to move, once everything was confirmed our side, we called them back. First they said let us call you back, later they called back to say they didn't have any availability. It feels like after having paid the £1000 you'd expect or assume a stronger place in the queue. I'm not sure we ever were properly recorded in placed in the queue for the second move date. In the end we had to pay for another company as AGB were unable to do the move, and we are therefore £1000 down for no service received. Again, I understand why cancellation fees exist. But it's a little hard to believe the company was unable to find another customer for our move date and financially impacted during the rush to beat the stamp duty deadline. Booked these guys well in advance with a quote of £1000 however on the day they said it would be £2,200 and if we cancelled we still had to pay bullying my wife into paying Then they didn't do all the removals we spent the next week removing the rest I wouldn't touch them or go near them they rip you off we can't afford to pay the extra like most people we are struggling if I had been home I would have said just leave They even asked my wife if she could get some help for the removals she told them you are getting paid for it you do it hilarious Never never again read more

David Jackson-Royle They underestimated our contents, must add they were not the cheapest quote but we chose them. We asked for a full packing service, they turned up a few days before as agreed 3 guys saying we were not informed it was a packing service and we have no packing materials, that's where it went down hill, they could only move a third of the contents assuring us the rest would be done prior to removal day, it was not I had to ask our buyer could I remove the remaining items after they had bought the property which is very embarrassing. On day of moving to our new address which was about an hour away but then they were pushed for time owing to there inadisques so at the new property they just put the boxes in the ground floor rooms regardless of what they said on them, and then said our HGV driver was close to his Taco limit so they had to leave, that was the best news I had that day. Since then we have found a lot of items broken and missing, I am not going to call them thieves I am just going to call them inept and unfit for their purpose as a removals company. read more

We moved our 3 bed house in Codsall up to a storage facility in Leeds. We paid for packing and removal. Before moving day we marked everything that we didn't want packing as instructed. The guys packed the van on the Friday while we were out at work. Aaron said this was their preference. When we got home we found items had been packed that we didn't want packing and in every room at least a couple of items that they had left. This was because the van they were using wasn't big enough! We ended up having to pack both our cars full of stuff because of this. When we got to the storage unit, I was told that one of the guys hadn't turned up so we were left with one guy and his teenage son to unload a three bed house into storage. I had to spend the whole day helping or it would have taken them all day and night. We realised soon after the move that our one year old sons money box had gone missing during the move.
