This beautiful new little shop has a great vibe, is spotlessly clean and has three really great guys at the ready to help design and deliver amazing tattoos. Plus, there's an intriguing cabinet of curiosities in the back that I spent some time ogling, which includes some very cool skull specimens. The interior is done with reclaimed wood counter tops and dropped ceiling, and the walls are covered pretty much floor to ceiling in art. The layout of the space makes for good privacy for its clients, but it's still open and airy. I just got new ink yesterday, my first tat in six years and I'm 100% totally thrilled with the results! I went to Ti-Rem - he was super kind, patient, unhurried and a total perfectionist (which you really appreciate when getting permanently marked up). Plus, affordable!! I'm already planning my next tattoo, and will definitely go back to the same guy. My partner has an appointment with Guillaume, the owner of the shop, next month, for his first tattoo ever! Very exciting. So glad these guys are in the neighbourhood, although now my grandfather will tell me I'm irredeemably on my way to the gates of hell. Muahahahah.

Me and my…read moregirlfriend decided to get tattoos on our trip to Montreal and walked into Gus's to see what they could do. Immediately Loulou walked up to us and asked us what he could do. She knew what she wanted, and he said that he could draw something out tonight and have it done in the morning. I didn't know what I wanted but he said it was okay if I decided tomorrow and that he would make some time just in case I still wanted a tattoo. We showed up early for our tattoos the day after, and we walked into another fun and friendly environment. Loulou set up a private station for my girlfriend and was very polite about her level of comfort in being topless for a tattoo. He proceeded to make very good conversation and consistently made sure she was comfortable and okay with the pain level, saying she could take a break whenever she needed. After she was done, I showed him a picture of what I decided on online. After a brief lunch break he cleaned up and set up a new station with new needles, and proceeded to do an absolutely amazing and professional job on my tattoo. If I lived in Montreal I would say that I would only go there for tattoos. If I'm ever back in the city I would go back without question. If you're wondering if this place is for you, I'm sure you'd find yourself very happy here like we did!
