As for my reasons for giving such a poor review, here is the list:…read more Like many doctors today, he does not listen to his patients. Quite the contrary, he bulldozes, talking over us with a "my way or no way " approach. He is a vehement pill-pusher. Unfortunately, the pills he originally tried to push on me would counteract badly with one I already take (and need very much), and his "my way or no way" approach didn't take that into consideration. In fact, he tried to get me to change the other med to accommodate his wishes. He prescribed insulin for me, but he forgot to prescribe the needles that go with it. The pharmacy has tried for almost a month to get that prescription from him, to no avail. Really? The pharmacy worker tells me that this office has always been very difficult to work with, and this is just another example of how. He also diagnosed me with hypertension, despite my blood pressure being 125/82, which is normal. He also put in my record that I have tingling in my limbs due to diabetes, which is untrue; I don't get tingling or numbness. He diagnosed me with a couple other serious conditions despite having done no relevant testing, and therefore having no evidence to make such a diagnosis. Am I not popping enough pills already? I know what it feels like to be bullied - I have had enough experience with that. To be bullied by a DOCTOR - someone who is supposed to be providing care - is possibly the worst feeling I have experienced in quite some time, as I now feel betrayed. How can you care for someone's health if you don't even listen to what's really happening? People don't always fit in a box, and we don't always follow the book. Listen. That's the only way you're going to get an accurate picture of what's really going on.

I personally like the feel of a women empowered medical office. They truly want to get to know you and your medical history! They won't stop til they have answers and your input! If your looking for a Rheumatologist than look no further. They'll send you for any medically necessary tests and review test results with you in office or over the patient portal. They respond to your voicemails within 48 hours unless your a new patient and then it would probably be longer. Discovered Rheumatology Wellness Center in 2017 and will be here for a long time. Remember they are flexible as to your medical treatments moving forward. If your looking for a relaxing and calm office setting this is your place!

As you may have read before on reviews of mine that when it comes to Doctors one of the things I insist on in my or my families physicians is Compassion and Knowledge and this practice has that in Spades. Dr. O'Neil is amazing, she was able to effectively diagnose and start appropriate treatment for an issue that has just recently cropped up in a family member. So starting off, the office has a calm, peaceful vibe. Its not just the staff, the colors are muted and pastel, the music in the waiting room is calm, the staff is welcoming and the waiting room has something you almost never see in a doctors office: comfortable furniture. The Nurses and the Doctor herself are top notch also. My family member went in with a migraine brewing to a visit, and the nurses made the room dark as soon as they were done with triage and spoke quietly out of concern. The Doctor offered acupuncture (normally something they charge for) to stop it in its tracks. Now I don't know if I ever believe that stabbing yourself with thin needles is spots is a cure for anything, but within 10 minutes she felt the pressure diminish and within 15 minutes the pain was gone. This is just ancillary service btw, the actual issue that brought my family member in was nailed immediately and a proper course of treatment was started right away and that, I might add, started reversing much of the Symptomology immediately. If you have an issue that requires a Rheumatologist I highly recommend this practice.

I came to see Dr. Mark D' Souza originally about my long term chronic pain after speaking we came up with a plan for me to go off my current medication and be put on something completely different But before I could start the new medication I had to be completely clean of it from my system! Well after being on a very high dose of narcotics for over 15 years that didn't really work good for the pain I honestly didn't know what I was getting myself into, but I can say luckily the withdrawals from my medication was the worst part of my experience and even that wasn't as bad as I thought! After changing my medication my pain has gotten better, I slept through the night for the first time in 15 years which alone I could of kissed Dr. Mark D'Souza for you don't know how cranky a person can get when they have had a good night sleep in over 15 years! Lol These doctors actually listened to me they didn't think I was crazy and they understood I was talking about which in-turn they have given me a big part of my life back by helping me get relief!
