    Holy Cow! You may want to think twice about using this company! I hired them to do a simple job. I…read moreneeded two Cat5 drops installed at my home and to mount two wireless access points. It turned out to be a fiasco! (It started on a Wednesday) He ran the drops but did not understand the instructions for using the Aruba wireless/ HPe access point mounting kits (part number: AP-220-MNT-W2W). In the process, he cut up and damaged one of the mounts as well as made over 8 screw holes in my ceiling. When he was "complete" he quickly took my check and left. Within the first hour of his departure, the AP's received power via POE, but no data. I immediately called and texted him about the issue. He assured me that he was currently going to his next job, but would return the following day (Thursday). The next morning, I texted him at around 8:30 am to confirm he would return that day to correct the cabling issues. I received a reply, that he was indeed planning on returning that day to fix things. At 2:22 pm, I once again texted him to see what the ETA was on returning. His reply was that he was finishing up a job and would text me when he was on the way. At 6:33 pm, I received no calls or texts, so I once again texted him to see if he was indeed still coming. The reply was "I'm heading to pull footage for the cops", whatever that means..... After that text, I never received a call or text again. Fast forward to Sunday, where I had to hire another cabler to come in and fix this guys shotty work. In short, he made several unnecessary holes in my ceiling, cut up and damaged an AP mount kit, and literally mis-wired the RJ-45 end connectors. He literally flipped the pinouts from left to right. In short, clearly, this guy is a jack-leg who doesn't know what he is doing with regards to Cat5 drops, RJ-45, Ethernet, and keystone connectors. He tried to take the "money and run", so I had to put a stop payment on the check.

Successfully filed for default judgment. Reached out early November in hopes of getting paid something. He promises to write a check but doesn't say how much it's for. A month goes by and no check. His response was "I thought you had received it". Yeah right. Then he says he will drop it off at my house that day. Again no check. Now he's saying he didn't mail it because I wrote a bad review and if I want any money at all I have to delete the review. Wonder how many other people he's pulled this with? This man has not kept his word to me so many times I'm losing count.

    Not sure if Sales Rep Ray Zhang works at this location because it appears to be the only office in…read morethis city, but he's trash. He came to my door and sold me an awesome CCTV and alarm system and for a deal, but he failed to tell me some important information that would've made me think about his offer instead of signing up. He withheld and/or lied about some information such as getting 2 separate bills (1 for the service and 1 for the equipment). He didn't elaborate that another bank company (Fortiva) is who I'll have to deal with because a loan was made to pay the equipment off. He said I'd have deals and monthly fees waived as a promotion, but he lied or supposedly made a mistake that he can't fix now because Fortiva is a separate entity. Then Ray gives me his personal number and his email and we corresponded a few times before he ghosted me. He now completely doesn't answer any of my messages or calls me back. Now I have to deal with customer service either on the phone or via chat. They give me credit for my inconvenience and my frustration, but it's not even what I wanted. I wanted to speak to my fake a$$ lying sales rep. On top of that, the city of Bryan reached out to inform that I'm required to pay $75 every 3 years for an alarm certificate or registration. Again, good information that should've been disclosed by the rep. Now I'm stuck with additional bills. If anyone ever runs into this clown at your door trying to sell you this system, turn him away and see someone else because I do believe Vivint is a good company, but it a bit more pricier than my previous alarm system which was Brinks. The Vivint installation tech, Adrian was super friendly and fast. He was super helpful and informative. Ray Zhang is a horrible representative of this company. If it wasn't for the system being super convenient and working better than my last alarm system, I'd leave this company in a heartbeat. Based on other reviews and my personal experience, Vivint needs to train their field reps and the cancellation process is such a hassle.

They sent untrained sales representatives to my home who promised a "30-day free cancellation" offer to encourage me to sign up -- only to later find out that this was completely false. When I tried to cancel within 30 days, their customer service informed me that the actual cancellation period was only 3 days, and that I would need to pay $1,800 just to terminate the service. The sales representatives who came to my home in Waller were Daniel Hernandez and Jonathan Guzman, both of whom straight up lied to me just to make a commission. Their manager, Angel, clearly doesn't care because this seems to be how they all operate -- lying to people to get sign-ups and money. It's disgusting business practice, and they should be ashamed of how they treat customers. Don't give these people the time of day let alone your business.
