Always a fantastic experience here. The restaurant is a warm and friendly, family run establishment. All of the dishes we've had have been very good. I especially like the mezze platter (try the spicy feta) and the beyti entree. Service is excellent and our waiters have always been on top of drink refills, additional pita, and more. We are repeat customers.

Last night my mother, partner, and I dined at Agora Kitchen for Mother's Day. As a well-travelled New Yorker with an adventurous attitude towards food, I've tried a bit of everything. That is, besides Turkish food. From the incredibly warm service, to the expert recommendations, and some of the best food I've ever tasted, Agora Kitchen exceeded every expectation. After watching a show called AnotherSelf, based in costal Turkey (a town called Ayvalik), I'd wanted to try Turkish food. Everything we tasted was unique, beautiful, and made with so much love and care. I'm so glad I got to try Agora Kitchen. I'll be returning for client lunches (I'm a business owner), family events, and notable occasions. In only one visit, Agora Kitchen became so special to me. Thank you so much to the staff, owner, and kitchen.

Food - 5/5 Service - 5/5 Ambiance - 5/5 Cool looking restaurant with good food and very nice staff. Spoke with the owner, very nice guy and told us about the history of his restaurant. Interesting story, and salad was amazing

The menu reveals Turkish delights to the intrepid diner. If you like sitting when you dine make your table reservations on open table.

My go to place when craving delicious Turkish cuisine. New chef Tallin has created a menu of delectable entrees that will become your new faves. Grab a few appetizers like shepherds salad and boreks then dive into a well prepared entree like eggplant meatballs or lamb and save room for homemade baklava or chocolate mousse cake and sip your Turkish coffee while you enjoy an up close encounter with a belly dancer for the ultimate dining adventure.

Food was amazing. Tried about half of the appetizers and every single dessert and they were all great. Had the shredded beef and chicken too. All wonderful. They are open all week now too! Went on a Monday night and everything was wonderful. Good service. Good food. Great place to hang out and talk over dinner.

Family owned and run. Friendly, warm service. Great turkish food. Good for groups. Verbally confirmed halal. Great place to have dinner any night of the week. Highly recommend the baklava.

Food and service were very good. We got just dinner. Chicken and lamb special. The service was very attentive. And the chef and gm or owner was checking up on us to ensure we were good.

Okay, RUN, don't walk, but RUN to this place. Everything is perfect about it. We were greeted by the owner, who is enthusiastic and attentive. We learned a bit about the restaurant's history. Then we started eating. Oh my. What combination of flavors and spices! I had the red lentil soup, which was phenomenal. So many herbs and spices, and a subtle but special hint of mint. Wow. We next had the meatball appetizer which is served with pasta, yogurt and tomato sauce. Delicious. And plentiful! We ended with the lamb flat, which is basically lamb on white rice with grilled vegetables, and naan bread. So very, very good! Even the rice, which is normally an afterthought in restaurants, was flavorful cooked right. Did I have room for dessert? No. But the owner gave us a couple of baklava and oh my was it amazing! We are walking out of here with full stomachs and amazing leftovers. Can't wait to come back and try more dishes. Also, we came on a Saturday night and there was a live jazz trio playing beautiful tunes. Love this place!

I'm telling you now. Run don't walk to this little slice of heaven in West Palm. An absolutely amazing Turkish restaurant. My wife and I were looking for a place that was authentic and home style cooking. The food is fresh and made with love. We were greeting very enthusiastically by the owner. You can tell he loves to share his food and culture with his customers. So friendly and fun! The service is on point! They are very attentive and knowledgable about the menu. My wife started out with the red lentil soup. Absolute delish! The herbs and spices, wow! And the best part was the hint if mint. It was the icing on the cake for this dish. I had the manti meze, beef dumplings with herbs and spices in a tomato, yogurt, garlic sauce. This absolutely blew me away!! I could have eaten tons of this dish. My wife and I shared the lamb flat. Spectacular. The roasted tomatoes, the lamb, and veggies... it was all perfect! The rice too! There aren't many places that can make rice tasty but they know what they are doing! We were treated to some baklava to finish off! It could not have been better! Having dinner here was an absolute epically great end to a wonderful weekend. I cannot wait to return!!

Found this place randomly; couldn't have been more pleased! If we lived closer, this would be a regular date night spot for us. We had such a great experience! We were welcomed so warmly it felt like we were guests in someone's home. The hosts turned out to be the owners. And they didn't just seat us and get our orders. They engaged us in conversation for quite a while and eventually got around to the menu. It was really nice. Once they got on the subject of the food, they were so proud of every dish and everything sounded so good. At the suggestion from the host, we decided on the Stormy Ridge cabernet. That was so good we bought 2 bottles to go when we checked out. We ordered Baba Ganouj for an appetizer. Most restaurants only give you a bit more than a sample size. Not here! They served a full size plate of it and boy it was good! We both got the specials. I'm upset I can't remember the names of the dishes. But between the chicken dish and the beef dish, we were so impressed that we bought the same order to bring back to my wife's parents. It was fantastic. We topped it all off with the chocolate cheesecake. This homemade wonder was so delicious that my wife and I fought for the last few forkfuls. The owners were very proud of their restaurant and shared their story with us. The restaurant itself was very clean and beautifully decorated. The bathroom alone was worth the trip! It's furnished like a living room. There's a whole wall on the way to the bathroom covered in raving reviews of the place. They deserve every one of them. We will definitely return when we are in town. The owner was also proud that he is now open weeknights as well.

This Middle Eastern and Mediterranean market has been serving the community since the 1970s. My colleagues introduced me to this hidden gem, and I've been hooked for the past 2.5 years. This local, family-owned business serves incredibly fresh, delicious food. My favorite sides are the Israeli couscous salad with currants, Craisins, edamame, red, orange, and yellow sweet peppers; the roasted cauliflower garnished with basil and tahini; and the lentil salad with caramelized onions and roasted garlic cloves that simply melt in your mouth--or, even better, spread on their fresh, house-made pita bread. My favorite hot platters are the Shish Tawook Platter, featuring perfectly seasoned chicken chunks smothered in garlic aioli with diced tomatoes and fresh herbs; the Spicy Chicken Kabob Platter; and the Black Angus Shawarma Platter, made with Black Angus beef sirloin and garlic aioli. All platters are served with rice, hummus, and fattoush salad. The platters are also available as wraps, filled with garlic aioli, parsley, lettuce, tomato, and onion, all wrapped in their freshly baked, house-made flatbread. They also carry an impressive assortment of spices, fresh pita, olives, olive oil, and many other Middle Eastern specialty items. Please come support this hidden, family-owned gem. We are losing far too many wonderful family-owned businesses, and I don't want to lose this one. They truly deserve our support. Every time I visit, the customer service is warm and welcoming. They remember their customers, greet you with a smile, and always make you feel like family. They even call me "Q" (short for Qcute), which always makes me laugh. It's those little personal touches that keep me coming back. If you're looking for authentic Middle Eastern and Mediterranean food made with fresh ingredients and served by genuinely kind people, you won't be disappointed.

There are lots of regular customers that the owner knows by name. The market is very small and with only one table under a canopy in the parking lot. My husband and I shared the mixed grille plate which was plenty for 2. The plate included chicken, beef, lamb, rice, hummus, salad and pita bread, we also ordered a spinach feta pie and a meat pie. Everything on the plate was fabulous. The spinach feta pie was our favorite of the two. If you are looking for a great Mediterranean food option in WPB, this is the place to go.

They have some small two top tables inside and a couple high tops outside. They had a board with lunch specials on it. But we wound up ordering from their regular menu. I got the moussaka and he got pasticchio. Both dishes came with a very generously sized Greek salad and warm pita wedges to start. The salads had tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, onions, pepperoncinis, and romaine lettuce topped with feta cheese and dressing. There was also a small rice stuffed grape leaf -- cut in half. The salad could have been a meal in itself. The moussaka was layered egg plant and potatoes with a ground beef filling topped with cinnamon béchamel sauce. The pasticchio is the Greek version of lasagna but with elbow macaroni. Both portions were quite filling. I ate my dish and he brought half of his home. He was saving room for dessert. For dessert, he had galaktoboureko which is a custard filled pastry topped with simple syrup. He said it was good, but it would have been better if warmed. Or at least if the syrup was warm. We had very good service. If you like Greek food and are in the area, this is a good place to try. Large portions at reasonable prices.

The space was clean with plenty of seating, and the staff was warm and welcoming from the moment I walked in. They gave me time to browse the menu without any rush, and were ready to take my order the moment I decided. I went with the Falafel and Eggplant Pita Wrap, ordered exactly as it comes -- five crispy handmade falafels, roasted eggplant, hummus, tomato and cucumber salad, purple cabbage slaw, white onions, tomatoes, pickles, and lemon tahini sauce. What I loved about the presentation was how they sliced the pita and stuffed the toppings inside the pocket, then placed the eggplant and falafel on the outside before wrapping everything up tightly. It made for a much easier, cleaner eat -- no toppings tumbling out with every bite! My first bite was amazing. The fresh flavors really shined, the falafels were perfectly crispy, and the eggplant had that deep, savory roasted flavor. Every topping complemented the others beautifully, and I walked away completely satisfied. I am so happy I found this fast and healthy option close by! I also grabbed a baklava and a mango sparkling probiotic drink -- both delicious. Beyond the food, they have soft drinks, tea, and lemonade, plus a sauce bar with vinegar and oil if you want to customize your meal even further. Overall, an excellent experience from start to finish. I can't wait to come back and try their other menu options!

I usually ate here at least twice a month or more for six years. And brought guests constantly . The food was always well prepared and at a reasonable price. The owner was always very friendly. BUT I will never again go back to Sofra after my experience last night. Last night I went with a couple of people that I had raved about this restaurant to. The owner, who certainly must've recognized me from the countless times I've eaten there in five years, barely grunted at me and the vibes I got from him were not very welcoming. He seemed really angry about something and was taking it out on his customers. There was only one other table that had customers and this was a Friday night. I found that really odd because other restaurants surrounding Sofra had lots of people sitting outside eating at their restaurants I ordered a falafel plate and others at our table ordered the İskender and another entrée. I practically passed out when I got the bill because I guess I didn't check the prices when I was ordering. The falafel plate, which was basically a spoonful of salad, a spoonful of rice, a few hard burned falafel, soup and a dribbling of tahini was $33. This is obscene. When this restaurant first opened they were charging for the same plate $15 and then they went to $25 after a few years which I thought was pretty high for the food we were getting but $33 is just plain greedy. I won't even do a review on the other two entrées because my party could barely eat them. I now see why there was nobody, literally nobody in this restaurant on a Friday night. And the owner, what happened to him? he used to be such a friendly guy and now he is just an angry man. The waitress never went back to check on us and refill our water after taking our order. Despite only two tables with customers in this restaurant. I read some of the reviews where owner says he hates the fucking country so why doesn't he just leave? There's plenty of really good Mediterranean restaurants that are not going to charge this kind of money for Mediterranean food. Even if the felafel was the best falafel I've ever eaten in my entire life - $33 is crazy. And it was not very good felafel - in fact all the food is mediocre. Where it once was amazing. So my suggestion to the owner is to lower his prices, improve the quality of his food and improve his attitude
