The one time I went to PEP was when I needed an exhibition display to be printed out and laminated. There was one person behind the counter, he printed out via the photocopier but the quality was so poor i couldn't use it. He apologised but could only offer to possibly do it the next day as he would have to call out a technician to sort it out. I couldn't believe there wasn't a back up machine or another way to print it, but assured me there wasn't so i took my business elsewhere. May be they were just having an off day but I doubt I`ll go back and chance wasting my time again.

They don't just print photos but run out artwork and fliers and will do you a good deal on large orders. However, if you're looking for cheap, cheerful, and nothing too fancy-schmancy, Colourfast are just the people to go to. Tucked away in the North Laine area, Colourfast specialise in bulk printing jobs, and have a very reasonable price range. If you need lots of something, at perfectly reasonable quality, Colourfast are the place to go, or have them deliver to you! Where other printers in Brighton are little shops or boutique-y style places, Colourfast is definitely a business. Housed in a warehouse in the North Laine, it is clear what Colourfast offer: reasonable rates, good on bulk orders, the simple and easy way to getting a load of stuff printed. I've used Colourfast a few times for last minutes orders, as they are exceptionally quick on the big orders as well. Basically, this is the place to go if you're printing thousands of something: they'll do it quickly, you won't pay through the nose for it, and the quality will be fine for an order of that magnitude. If you want something more arty or refined, Vivid's the place to go. These are the two best: everywhere else in town either charges too much, for worse quality, or is nowhere near as dependable and reliable.
