Called up some connections and they had no idea who this was. For giggles I took the call and they asked me one question about some vague experience then immediately asked me my salary expectation. A complete waste of time. They contacted me and made me think they had a special--as in unadvertised--job lined up. Only after agreeing to their terms did I learn the job was with a company I had applied to on my own. Strike 1. They set up an interview with the hiring manager. Again, I could have done this on my own with a follow-up message. Strike 2. There was absolutely no follow-up on the part of the two AgreeYa people I dealt with after the interview. They only told me, "the position has been filled" after I messaged them. Strike 3. Employers: If you need help in finding employees, use someone else. I saw the commute would be an hour for me (each way), so I replied with: "I would require $25/hr for this position" --- knowing I have rarely seen anything in this area for even $20/hr! I received an immediate reply, "Accepted. Please send resume." Why do they need my resume??? Go to LinkedIn, look on the job search sites... how did they find me in the first place?! I was recently contacted by a recruiter located out of Folsom, California, regarding a Configuration Analyst position located in Centennial, CO. Upon review of this email, I noticed that another person's email address was included in the "To:" line. AgreeYa Solutions, Inc. has willfully disclosed my email address to an unknown third party, and vice versa. This is a violation of my privacy and is also considered a willful breach of my personal information. Additionally, the recruiters at this firm have no idea what they are doing. The ones I have encountered are from India and have no idea what they are recruiting for, even if you attempt to walk them through it. They constantly ask the same questions from you From different people. They obviously do not talk to each other. They are hard to understand and have no patience.
